📷 When you spend so much time with a specific species, either you stop regularly to reflect on what you are producing or all your images may look the same.
This is something that is partially happening with my rabbit photos. Although I sit down and have a critical look of my work frequently to think how could I bring this to the next level, I inevitably notice that I have a lack of images of the rabbits running and moving around - something they actually do quite often!
It’s not that I haven’t done it, it’s more a practical issue and a limitation that I’m finding with the camera’s modest autofocus capabilities - how easy to blame the camera, she can’t defend herself! It does work, but only in a handful of occasions the photos have come out nicely, and this is one of the few lucky ones.
That is partially why, being aware of this weak point, I focus all my efforts on capturing the more static behaviours and aspects of the rabbits that I can capture wonderfully with the 70-200 with the 1.4 teleconverter. Apologies if you yawn when you see the rabbit photos, but that is just strategy! 👇

On the east side of Miller's Pond on the Hardwick Estate, two sets of proud and protective parents escort their brood to the water! As well as having Canada Geese, we have here a young adult swan, as always, plenty of wildlife on the Hardwick Estate!
