Also on the first floor, there is a cafe with access to the terrace. There’s a zen garden under the ceiling — among the blossom of flowers, ceramic Crust lamps by Sergey Makhno sprinkle the warmth all around the space. When having a cup of coffee, you have a chance to meditate and cleanse the consciousness for future affairs, thoughts, and knowledge. #makhnoarchitects
This is my view every day! This is the office that I work in almost every day of the week. I like it for many reasons, but one big one is the window. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀
There’s something calming about being in an office with a window where you are sharing your deepest fears, hurts and accomplishments. There is hope in being able to look outside. There have been many reminders that we are not alone in this world through that window. Whether it’s the crows that keep resting on the tree outside or the butterflies that have shown up, or even the rain, I am reminded that the world is not all awful and hard, and that I can provide hope and peace for my clients. The window also reminds us to celebrate the bright spots in our work and lives as the sun shines in, or we look out and see the blooming trees.
How do your windows provide you with hope or grounding?
