  • Life tip #24: Keep your oils where you use them 😉
.
Honestly, this is one of the simplest ways to make natural solutions actually happen
.
My 12-year-old has trouble sleeping sometimes, so part of her night-time routine is to put lavender on the bottoms of her feet and under her big toe before she goes to bed every night.
.
Before, when she kept the lavender roller in the kitchen drawer (where the rest of my oils are), half the time she’d forget. And often spend the night tossing and turning as a result 😭
.
Now, she keeps the roller right next to her bed in her nightstand pouch.
.
Now it happens every night ☺️
.
Because it’s simple, and because it’s convenient #2for2
.
The key is to keep the oil right where you use it - that way you’re not in the middle of washing your hair and wishing you had your rosemary oil to add to your shampoo
.
Just keep it in the shower! That way all of your good intentions come into fruition 😉
.
My latest #win with this is I blended up the skinny jeans blend in a 2 oz. bottle and I keep it right next to my bathroom sink so I can easily drop it into a veggie cap and take it every morning and night. That is a habit made easy!

What is one #oil you use more than a few times a week – and where do you keep it?

  • 🌸#BetaHydroxyAcid (BHA) is an oil loving❤acid.
BHA is preferred for #oily #acne-prone skin and for treating #blackheads and #whiteheads. 🌸#BHA can get through the #oil that clogs pores and helps to normalize the lining of the pore that contributes to #acne. 🌸BHA’s have anti-inflammatory and #antibacterial properties. 🌸BHA’s are sometimes preferred for those struggling with #rosacea. However, not everyone with rosacea can tolerate an #exfoliant – it’s best to experiment with a BHA product to see how your rosacea responds. It is likely you’ll see less #redness and a smoother, even #skin with fewer breakouts.

  • As I could feel yesterday bad flares were coming because I really pushed my body past the point I know I can handle, but I wouldn’t do any differently. Last night I got a double occipital Neuralgia migraine and my other rare nerve disorders followed. Half my body felt like I was burning alive, my skull was being crushed, and my face being electrocuted. I almost never use 9/10 on the pain scale but this one was. 😬*
*
I was legit in bed until 4pm today as embarrassing as that is. I got up once this morning to get another ice pack and let the pups outside and then needed several more hours to recover from that activity. I’m doing much better now thanks to my 5 trusty companions.*
*
I’ve really learned how to manage my pain, but if I push my body past it’s limits there’s nothing I can do to stop it, only manage how bad it gets. I brought out the big guns today and used everything I have just to be able to get back to my normal tolerable pain level. The cream I use for when my muscles are spasming (Z actually used it last night for his back pain and it helped him a lot too,) the roll on for the spots in my hair and on my cheekbones/jaw where I was being electrocuted, and double the oil under my tongue to manage the pain. Plus I took all of my supplements. And had my multiple ice packs. I really just need a bath in ice and the cream. 💁‍♀️🤣 *
*
But living with chronic pain is hard. You have good days and really bad days. On the bad days you wish that you could just go back to the normal daily pain you experience. But here’s the thing and the reason I’m sharing this. I use to feel so incredibly guilty on days like today and I honestly still struggle with it big time. I had several appointments to keep, laundry to do, food to prep, etc, and I didn’t do any of those things. But here’s the thing. Every day I deal with pain and I work through it regardless, and every now and then I just can’t; and that’s okay. Letting the dogs out was a huge accomplishment; and that’s okay. I’m still in my PJ’s doing minimal activity; and that’s okay. It is okay to not be okay all the time. I allowed myself to rest today I can do what I need to tomorrow; and that’s perfectly okay.
