You can’t expect to look and feel like a million bucks when you eat off the dollar menu! That was then at 24, this is now at 39! From filling my stomach to nourishing my cells. You really are what you eat! Anyone else want a lifestyle makeover?
I think I have been too dependent lately,
I felt so lost in just a minute after my friends went home,
I felt so empty waking up in the morning every day,
Oh how I miss the old me,
Who would wake up and just be grateful for the beautiful sunrise,
And would let the sunset take away all my worries and sadness,
Now, I am just numb,
Numb to everything, everyone, everywhere I am.

This used to be the worst place I could ever imagine in my life but I was wrong. It's not the place it's the people . I felt so connected that I saw a new perspective of life where death is omnipresent. I was destroyed but i saw hope , suddenly I realized I was nowhere near being destroyed because in the same room someone was taking his last breaths .
I'm guilty about all my mistakes and thus I start fresh .

Often times I find myself reminiscing about the good and bad times. Not because I like to dwell in the past, but because the past is your future, a lot of the times. I mean think about it, as soon as you’ve reached your version of success, the first thing anyone would ask you is how’d you do it? The answer to that will always be in the past. To know where your headed you have to know where you’ve been is the same as to understanding a an abstract or surrealistic painting you must first understand the Artist behind it. Right? The past is always relevant so don’t be afraid to dive deep back into the past and learn about yourself. It will help you with your future. 😊 Happy Monday Everyone !
That awkward moment when the excuse hangover tries to kick in. ⠀
It took everything in me to get here, old me would’ve went home, accepted the fact that I’d just push it off to tomorrow, then tomorrow would come and oops didn’t have time to meal prep so I’d likely grab something from the cafeteria then I’d continue that unpreparedness all week. 😐 Have you ever had an excuse hangover? Like yesterday’s unaddressed crap just keeps dragging on to the next day? I can’t believe I used to function in that never ending pit... no wonder I felt so lost. 🤢 ⠀
I always like to tell myself “five mins at night = 10 mins in the morning”, keep reading it will all make sense. 😂 So recently I started picking up little five minute tasks before bed like, making sure the dishes where washed, sweeping or folding the blankets on the couch to eliminate the tasks that interfere with the morning and it is sooooo helpful! I wake up refreshed not feeling so overwhelmed by yesterday’s clutter. 🤘🏼 So then I came up with “a five minute task at night saves me ten minutes in the morning”, sounds weird but hey, you do what you gotta do to get it done, am I right? 🧐⠀
So even though little tasks like making a late night Sunday grocery trip after work sounds daunting, I’m doing it anyways because I’m not gunna change from staying in my comfort zone and you won’t either sister friend. 😘 So take a few minutes to get your stuff figured out for the week, if you haven’t already. Remember: *Actions aligning with goals. I’m chanting this in my head as I race through the isles. 😂 ⠀
