Cause after all this time.
I'm still into you
I should be over all the butterflies
But I'm into you (I'm into you)
And baby even on our worst nights
I'm into you (I'm into you)
Let em wonder how we got this far
Cause I don't really need to wonder at all
Yeah after all this time
I'm still into you... 🧡🎶🎶

⛔⛔⛔ MINI RANT ⛔⛔⛔
This isnt a current photo, so we can skip the whole "you look ____" comments. .
I haven't been posting much on social media lately, but I read something the other day and I just can't keep my mouth shut. .
A fitness "influencer" posted about people (mostly women) and implied that being lean/competing while maintaining a healthy hormonal balance is about having the proper mindset...say whaaaaaaat? 🤦♀️ .
The message was this: if you complain about competing, can't keep lean all year round, have a bad attitude and lose your period, you don't have the right "mindset". Ummmm Okay? Sure. .
This infuriates me because a) its condescending as fu** b) is completely ill informed and, c) promotes unrealistic/unachievable standards. Like really? Let me just control my estrogen levels with a positive mindset. Please. .
Look, I agree. Competing IS A CHOICE (and one of privilege at that). If competing makes you unhappy or miserable, you for sure shouldn't do it, but I'll never get on board with a message that says the consequences of controlling and manipulating your body for any length of time can be avoided by a positive mindset. NO. .
Statistics report as many as 25% of elite female athletes experience amenorrhea. Maybe 1 in 4 women just need a bit more meditation, celery juice and positivity in their life 🙄 #sarcasm
We need to stop blaming and shaming people. We're all different, we're all worthy, and we all experience life in different ways. Let's respect that and #stoppromotingshittymessages about "health"
