This must’ve been one of the most beautiful views we ever had 🙏🏻
The hike was short but really steep and it took us a while to find the trailhead, but it was definitely fun and so worth it! Austria, you amaze me every single time 🌲 | @glyder ✨ | anzeige | 📸 @nicaiken

Angels Landing 🏜: ................ I’ve seen awesome photos from this hike so many times, but I haven’t ever done it. I just see the pretty smiling people and think 👍🏻. Little did I know what craziness actually awaited me.
After the beautiful morning in Bryce, we drove to Zions. We came in the east side so it took a while. We drove through the one way tunnel, saw some mountain goats while we were waiting, and drove around in circles for 30 minutes trying find parking!!! Hahaha.
We got to Angel’s Landing Trailhead at about 1:15. For those of you that haven’t done this hike.... it’s a beast. A BEAST. Straight up for 2.5 miles with so many steep switchbacks. Just that part of the hike took me forever. Then once you think you are to the top.. there’s more!! The chain sections!!!! Another half mile up the Spine of Angels Landing to the summit. It’s slow going up the rocky section. Holding on to chains with white knuckles, and wondering why you don’t have a will....Because you’re like 98 percent sure you’re going to fall to your death at any moment. AND it’s such a busy hike there are people coming down so you have to move around and let them pass. 💀💀💀 Unbelievably, I finally made it to the summit at 4:30. Complete with.. Shaking legs from “rock climbing” and adrenal fatigue from the constant fear of falling. . It was honestly one of the hardest, and scariest things I’ve ever done!! Luckily, The views were worth it!! Oh, and Thank goodness I made some new friends in the chain section to keep me going or I would’ve turned around. 🤣. By the time we got back to the bus it was 6:15 and we were all completely exhausted!! It took me forever to hike that, Friends! Fitbit app said 150 flights of stairs... 😵 I may never walk right again. #angelslanding#zionnationalpark#travelnurse#outdooradventures
Fall is my favorite season of the year! Im loving ever bit of it - embracing this transition into the colder weather that I never felt in Texas! ☀️Looking forward to doing more exploring in the mountains that are right here in my backyard, and reminding myself that I don’t always have to take a far away trip to get away and connect with nature.🍁
