I en hektisk hverdag må man gripe alle mulighetene som dukker opp. De siste tre dagene har jeg plutselig hatt masse tid til rådighet både før og etter jobb. Uvant å være alene uten mann og barn, men utrolig digg med litt alenetid hvis det er lov å si. Tre dager og 7 økter, totalt 50km (og denne dagen er heldigvis ikke over ennå!🤩) Gud bedre, så utrolig motivert om dagen🙏. Jeg har til og med løpt på morgenen to dager på rappen. Det er helt crazymaddafakka for et B-menneske som meg😂
Nå savner jeg gjengen min og gleder meg til de kommer hjem i morgen. Da blir det familiekos resten av påsken💛 (Forhåpentligvis blir det litt løpetid mellom slagene også😄). .
Endelig min tur til å ta påskeferie!🤩.

What a beautiful day!! Had some fun between my long run this morning! You know....mind over body kind of distraction☺️ Before coaching, staying healthy on the weekends and finding balance was not a thing. This was a learned behavior and healthy habbit kinda thing.
I don't run often and I didn't know how athletic I was till I gave it a try. I do Beachbody workouts and help others find their strengths and help them hit goals as a fitness influencer🙌🏼 I love it! Looks like doing at home workouts and staying in my accountability group is working.
It's all in your head! Get that mind on track and have fun too😘

Never thought I’d see the day, but finally put a 5k in the books for #getoutsidesaturday !!
I know a lot of you run races (and far longer than a 5k) all the time, but seeing as I was a sprinter/jumper in college, I truthfully didn’t think I would EVER run a “distance” race.
If it weren’t for all the successes and stories from our FiTSISSters there’s not a chance I ever would have bothered, but I’ve been sooo impressed and inspired by those of you using Accelerate (our 4-week treadmill guide) to improve race times, I had to get out there myself!! I can’t say I love steady state (hence our interval training), so I was glad to see intervals were enough to carry me through!! 😅
And HUGE thank-you to @yotownc for pacing me...I would have been lost without you!!! 💪🏻💦 It also didn’t hurt to have @kellyycollins@fife07@gavin_p_reid and Shane out there cheering us on!! Thanks guys!! 💛

I’ve been trying to get outside more to take advantage of the sun - going for lots of walks and outdoor runs to top up the vitamin d and help work on my tan! (hopefully) 😂😎🏃🏽♂️ .
Try taking some of your workouts outside - the variety will help to keep you motivated and interested, and may help increase the enjoyment of your sessions! Before you know it, it’ll probably be snowing again 😭❄️⛄️😂

I DID IT 🕺🏻🕺🏻🕺🏻 Today’s run was windy, cold, rainy, cloudy.. did I say windy ?! I mean “tornado windy” lol! 😝🌪 I can’t choose the weather but I have control over my attitude and motivation.
Sprint run: Done✅ - 5 minutes normal pace run
- 1 minute sprint run
- repeat (4-5-6 times.. or till you collapse 🤣) Love my new @brooksrunning shoes ❤️ #highonendorphins #runnershigh
1st mile- 11:38 (shaved off 1:06!)
2nd mile- 12:19 (shaved off 0:37sec!). Overall: 24:20 (down 1.5 min)
Last outdoor 2mi run: 25:51 (4/6/19)
Obliterated my 1st & 2nd mile times! Unfortunately I didn’t log the run through the NRC app so I didn’t earn my achievement sticker 😩 damn watch didn’t connect until after I started using another app. ———————————————————
This run was a bit grueling as I fought to sustain my pace for as long as I could once I went anaerobic. I almost said started walking but kept pushing anyway. Discipline is key. In order to improve self-discipline you have to learn to stay focused on the goal & push through the obstacles. That not only applies to training but to life. Anyone who knows me will know how much I don’t like to run... mainly because I’m not good at it... and I hate not being good at anything 😂🙈 I made it my goal to start adding it in to my routine a few days a week and to get better, not to be better than anyone but myself. I started with just a wee 2 mile and today I managed just over 4 miles.
