Today I popped in to @riverisland after being inspired by @im_an_80s_lady post in this amazing 2piece. .
I absolutely loved the suit due to the perfect fitting and style of the trousers for my shape and then 3/4 length sleeves of the blazer! If you have a special occasion to go to or dress smartly for work I would highly recommend getting this beauty
Secondly, this dress caught my eye... I love the slip dresses but don’t feel they will suit my shape, so when I saw this wrap style version I just had to try it on. Now I want it! What’s a girl to do? .
This ootd is also my entry for @whatkathydidnext and @stealmystyle40#whatweworeonwednesday , @somewherebetween_style#wearwhatyoulovewednesday

Back from a hiatus of posting with many mixed emotions. Frankly I’ve been at a loss of words. I am still processing the loss of those innocent lives in New Zealand. With recent events in the world and on social media I’ve reminded myself that being present in each moment of our lives and making those moments positive are not only important for ourselves but also our surroundings. Surely what has happened is nothing short of infuriating and hurtful. But as the saying goes darkness cannot drive our darkness. Only light can do that. Coming together with our inner “lights” in a time like this is more important than ever. The goodness we put out in this world with our thoughts and actions collectively can help drive out hate and deter those who wish to establish divisiveness. In doing so we are making this world a better place for our generation and those to come!
