  • -  Sometimes when i watch 600 pound life it reminds how similar my life was to the people on the show. I could hardly walk or move. I only had two shirts that fit me. Couldnt fit in chair or have a seat belt go around me. When i was over weight it was like time stood still. I was watching others live their life while i just sat there. I can tell you personally that losing weight was one of the best decisions ive ever made. Transformation takes time. I didnt drop over 200 pounds in one day. Losing weight takes consistency and determination. You got to want it and do the actions to get there. Just don't give up and keep going. I track my food intake daily on a app called mynetdiary. I got a activity tracker and started to be more actived by getting steps in daily. I started caring about the things i put in my body. Just know you can do anything you are a warrior.

  • Seafood and mango content from here on out. 🙌 I love quick weeknight dinners like this! After working all day, throw a gym workout in there, I really dislike standing in the kitchen for an hour to cook a meal. Meal Prepping on the weekends helps, but having quick ingredients like this to throw together definitely helps as well! Zoodles, cast iron shrimp, mango chunks, and homemade Paleo pesto for the win! 🥒

  • All this rain and gloominess here on the East coast of Florida every afternoon lately makes me think of Fall and I couldn't get pumpkin pie out of my brain so I made some petite paleo pumpkin pies tonight. They are darker than norm because I used coconut sugar instead of white cane sugar. I also use coconut milk instead of evap cow milk. Crust is made from almond/coconut/tapioca flour, grass-fed butter (which I only use on rare occasion). Now to make the coconut whip cream to top them! They don't look pretty but I bet they will taste yummy!

  • Getting my last bit of dock time in before heading into the city for a few days. 
I am pet/house sitting for friends AND have some organizational work with a client. Squeezing in a coffee date or two, as well.
My life is moving at lightening speed right now.

I relaunch the next session of my Inflammation Slayer Elimination Diet and Group Coaching Program for Women next Wednesday.

While I’m super excited about all the women I’m to be able to help, I have a shit ton of administrative hurdles I have to cross in order to get there.

Honey Garlic Steak Bites – an incredibly tasty, perfectly easy, 5-ingredient recipe! These take minutes prep and minutes to cook and the simple marinade gives them so much flavor. It’s a dinner recipe everyone can agree on!⁣

Serves: 4-6⁣
INGREDIENTS:⁣
1.5 lbs sirloin steak, fat trimmed, diced into cubes just under 1-inch⁣
1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce⁣
3 Tbsp honey⁣
3 garlic cloves, minced (1 Tbsp)⁣
2 Tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil⁣
Green onions or sesame seeds, for garnish (optional) ⁣
⁣
Cooking Instructions: ⁣
⁣
*Place steak pieces in a gallon size resealable bag.⁣
*In a mixing bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey and garlic.⁣
*Pour mixture over steak, seal bag while pressing *out excess air then rub marinade over steak.⁣
*Transfer to refrigerator and let marinate 1 – 2 hours.⁣
*Let continue to cook to desired doneness, about 1 minute longer (internal safe temperature is 145 degrees).⁣
*Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining steak⁣

    Honey Garlic Steak Bites – an incredibly tasty, perfectly easy, 5-ingredient recipe! These take minutes prep and minutes to cook and the simple marinade gives them so much flavor. It’s a dinner recipe everyone can agree on!⁣

    Serves: 4-6⁣
    INGREDIENTS:⁣
    1.5 lbs sirloin steak, fat trimmed, diced into cubes just under 1-inch⁣
    1/3 cup low-sodium soy sauce⁣
    3 Tbsp honey⁣
    3 garlic cloves, minced (1 Tbsp)⁣
    2 Tbsp olive oil or vegetable oil⁣
    Green onions or sesame seeds, for garnish (optional) ⁣

    Cooking Instructions: ⁣

    *Place steak pieces in a gallon size resealable bag.⁣
    *In a mixing bowl whisk together soy sauce, honey and garlic.⁣
    *Pour mixture over steak, seal bag while pressing *out excess air then rub marinade over steak.⁣
    *Transfer to refrigerator and let marinate 1 – 2 hours.⁣
    *Let continue to cook to desired doneness, about 1 minute longer (internal safe temperature is 145 degrees).⁣
    *Transfer to a plate and repeat with remaining steak⁣
