Think grain-free pizza crusts have to taste gross? Or at best - they taste fine but they’re not really PIZZA, if you know what I mean?🍕🍕🍕
Think again, my friend. At long last - my favourite (she says modestly🤪) paleo pizza crust recipe is published! You can find it at redandhoney.com - it’s the latest post. I’ve been testing and perfecting this recipe for 3+ years and DANG it’s good.🙌🏼🎉
We have pizza every Friday night like clockwork - it’s my fave part of the week. I’ve been making gluten free pizza crusts for nearly ten years but was disappointed constantly with the recipes out there. So I developed my own!
Find it on the blog, make it, and come back and tell me if you loved it. (And while you’re at it - a starred comment on the post itself is super helpful and appreciated.) 🥰
Do you have pizza every week? Do you have a fave crust?? Do tell!

Whats are some of your favourite salad toppings❓❓ As many of you know I don’t count my calories but I know I will get asked so here is the breakdown.
When I was losing weight I steered away from fats. As back in those days I was on the high carb low fat diet. I thought eating fats would make me fat. Boy was I wrong with so much information out there now I am incorporating a lot more fats into my diet. Personally I have found I have a lot more energy and Im not fatigued like I used to be. I feel much fuller for longer after my meals.
Don’t fear fats just eat the healthy fats. Some of my favourite fat sources are
Avocados, eggs, salmon, olive and olive oil also nuts and nuts butters 🤤… What are some of yours?

Paleo banana bread—so simple yet so essential. This one, which I created for @eatthisnotthat, is simply flavored with a touch of cinnamon—but since you all know I can’t ever leave well enough alone (😂), I give you many variations in the recipe.
Of course it’s free of gluten, grains, and sugar, it freezes beautifully, it makes yummy French toast. And of course there’s a #linkinprofile . Make some this weekend! 🍌❤️
If you’ve seen my stories, you know I’ve been keeping a little secret that I’m finally sharing right now 🙈 Too often, I tend to doubt myself and think I’m not good enough. Combine my perfectionism with feelings of imposter syndrome and it’s basically the perfect recipe for setting insanely high goals for myself yet feeling like I can’t and won’t measure up. But I’m realizing that the more we doubt ourselves, the more we hold ourselves back. The only limitations we have are the ones we set for ourselves. I should be my own biggest fan, not the biggest obstacle standing in the way of accomplishing all that I’m capable of 💪🏻
SOOOO- speaking of not letting myself get in the way of going for my goals, it’s been a dream of mine to co-host an event. And guess what? IT’S HAPPENING!!!!!! 😭🤩🥳🎊🎉

I am rounding up all of my caribbean style recipes from this past week that are inspired from our cooking class at @thecookerydallas into one post! TGIF am I right? My week has been long, and I’m ready to kick off the weekend right with these #paleo pancakes.
When things get hard in life, we are given a choice to breakdown and let the stress and our ego control our emotions OR let it go. Taking moments to breathe through things, have a calm mind, sit in silence, practice yoga... all these things are here for you anytime whenever you need them. This week I faced the same stress as last week, but instead of letting it consume me I practiced being in the present moment. I’m much better off today for it!
Looking to bake some healthy treats for your weekend get together?

Meal Prepped Breakfast 🍳
We all spend our time thinking about prepping lunches and we don't realize that breakfast can be equally prepped ahead of time, too!
I've been loving the egg and avocado pairing lately. I also love mixing boiled eggs with avocados to make an avo-egg salad. Slather that on toast and it's heaven!
#breakfast details: 2 eggs boiled for 7 minutes + sweet potato fries + 1/2 avocado with everything but the bagel seasoning.
💁♀️Don't have enough time for a self-care routine, but want to stay healthy? If your answer is yes, this post is especially for you!😉
🌿Ayurveda approach to a good health underlines in preventative principal, which starts from self-care. 💆♀️ There are abundance of self-care rituals in Ayurveda, from very simple, to more complex, but here are THREE you can start implementing today!👇
1️⃣ Tongue 👅Scraping
During the night 😴, improperly digested food residue and toxins in the intestines and stomach, accumulating on the tongue in a form of white coating, causing bad breaths and bacteria. Take a tablespoon or a tongue scraper, and with gentle pressure start removing white residue from your tongue. ⏱Repeat 5 times, rinse your mouth and follow with your regular dental routine.
2️⃣ Dry Skin Brushing.
Oh boy! The benefits are rocking if you're all about a glowing skin!
✔️Stimulate the lymphatic system
✔️Remove toxins from the body
✔️Remove impurities from the skin
✔️Keep the skin soft and smooth
Take a brush and using long, sweeping strokes, start brushing your dry skin, from feet towards the heart, moving onto the rest of the body. Pleasurable and energizing experience.
3️⃣ Oil Pulling
This one might not be pleasurable as the #2 , but! Oral health is crucial for your healthy body. You might want to develop tolerance for this inexpensive and yet effective method to keep oneself healthy:
✔️Strengthens teeth and gums
✔️Eliminates bad breath
✔️Kills harmful bacteria in the mouth
✔️Prevent from cavities
✔️Reduces inflammation of the gums
⏱On empty stomach, using a spoon of sesame or coconut oil, start swishing it in your mouth for 15-20 minutes. Once you’ve finished, spit the oil out in the trash can.
Which one interested you the most? Comment below and we'll cover it more in depth!🤗

These healthy chicken nuggets are always in stock in our freezer. I make them in a large batch and freeze them in a labelled glass container. When I’m preparing the kids’ lunch boxes the night before, I defrost these in the fridge so they are ready to go the next day.
Protein is a component of every cell in the body and an essential building block.
We use protein to build and repair tissues and to create enzymes, hormones and chemicals within the body. Proteins are made up of amino acids. There are 20 different amino acids that help to form the thousands of different proteins within our body.
Children have great demands for growth and development. Therefore getting enough protein into their diet is essential to ensure optimal growth and for bodily functions to run smoothly. Without good quality protein in a child’s diet, a child will have less energy and learning at school will be a struggle.
