I have not felt like myself the past couple weeks. The 3rd trimester is whooping my butt. Ive told myself, I’m too tired, I’m in my 3rd trimester, I can’t do this.  I could feel this downward spiral and I was starting to approach this 3rd trimester as “how long do I have left, I’m not going to make it.”⁣

Then I realized, after plugging in and talking to a few of my key people that I was drifting off course! I re-focused and went back to what I know works and I’m better for it!! ⁣

To your surprise, none of what others experienced occurred in your situation.  Dieting is a personally matter, and I personally believe it should be taken on as a lifestyle change. 
I've decided to make half of my food consumption raw. No other stipulations, just steadfast in the implementation of raw.

The thing is— our fear isn’t actually REAL...our thoughts around situations create our reality. Meaning, if we can control our thoughts— we control our reality.

A couple years ago, I wouldn’t have believed a WORD of that. I would have said “how do you control your thoughts, you can’t control your brain etc.” Maybe not exactly but something similar. At that time, prior to my massive dive into personal development— I had no conception of the HOW + WHAT behind managing my anxiety.

Training your brain is where “managing” anxiety STARTS. Start studying YOURSELF— your triggers + continuous thoughts and study your beliefs behind your fears.

Is this as simple as it sounds— ABSOLUTELY NOT. It’s COMPLEX + MESSY just like everything else that’s VALUABLE in life.

  • I had a conversation with someone yesterday who’s (potentially) losing their job because the company they work for is selling and it got me thinking about being proactive vs. reactive 🙋🏼‍♀️

While that situation is most DEFINITELY anxiety provoking, if we’re waiting for things to happen and anticipating future events it produces anxiety, we let the events in our life set the agenda and we lose control. So often we do this, and wait for life to happen, instead of taking action & being proactive ✨

I’m a big believer in “everything happens for a reason” and I truly believe that life happens FOR us and not TO us, and that that shift in PERCEPTION can truly CHANGE how you live your life 🖤

Being proactive is still reacting, it’s just reacting BEFORE an event occurs and throws us off. It’s PLANNING ahead and taking control of our lives. .

We always have a choice, and even though we can’t choose WHAT happens in life, we CAN choose to consistently take action and choose how we react✌🏼✨ .

This business that I'm doing is all about building a brand online and to do that I need to be authentic. In all honesty I've struggled trying to tell my rags to riches story for a few reasons.⁣

🔺I don't want to dwell on the past⁣
🔺In comparison to what others have been through I feel my journey has been pretty easy⁣
🔺I focus on creating more positive moments and living abundantly which in turn brings me more abundance⁣
🔺I have healed and can't keep going back to how I felt through those painful moments. It doesn't serve me.⁣

I've been through my fair share of pain, yes. I went through years of abusing my body to help get me through that pain. I won't ever tell you that I was lost during those times because honestly, I wasn't. I was just finding myself. Finding my feet after being in a seven year abusive relationship. I describe myself as a modern day Cinderella - with no Prince at the end.⁣

I wouldn't change it one bit. Not one. Because I now have the most beautiful daughter and live the most amazing life with my twin flame.⁣
.⁣
I already feel uneasy telling this story but it's all part of the growth that comes with this business. ⁣

I'm sure I will be able to open up a little more as I progress. For now, that is all x⁣
