  • Two days a week I babysit my cousins who live in Illinois & on these days I’m typically gone for about 11 to 13 hours. 😅

👏🏼👏🏼I.do.not.slack.on.my.goals.because.of.this.👏🏼👏🏼

I’ll wake up earlier to fit a whole lift in if I have to, and I always always always prep an entire days worth of food the night before. A typical day out of the house looks like this 👇🏼
•
My breakfasts are usually a smoothie (greek yogurt, frozen spinach, frozen fruit, egg whites, and almond milk) and a bagel that I eat during my drive. 🤤
•
My lunches are usually raw vegetables (sometimes w/ yogurt based ranch to dip), cottage cheese with fruit, and grilled chicken breast. 🥕🥒
•
My dinners are usually leftovers that consist of a protein source and vegetables (this week has been spaghetti squash w/ meatballs & brussel sprouts). 🍴
•
My snacks are usually Icelandic Yogurt or Light & Fit Mix Ins, apples, oranges, bananas, Dove Chocolate, cheese sticks, chips ahoy (not kidding). 🍪
•
I find foods that I enjoy and place an importance on getting fruits and vegetables in throughout the day as well as protein sources. It’s possible to be gone an entire day and still eat in accordance to your goals. (Also possible to not have a functioning kitchen/live in a house that’s under renovation & still eat in accordance to your goals)😛
•
I frequently take my cousins to Portillo’s after I pick them up from school and I don’t feel tempted because my goals are important to me. There are no excuses people. Just what’s important to you and what’s not. That’s the REAL TEA!!!!! 🐸☕️

Emotional day as I say goodbye to my hardest working clients & best couple! I’ve been training them together 2x a week for the last 3 years.  They’ve become like family. . 
I’ve learned a lot from Reese & Stan, the epitome of a successful marriage and healthy aging! 
Some of their tips...
✅lots of social activity
✅exercise (together is more fun 🥰 ) ✅respect one another & other people .
✅productive pursuits - focus on things you love to do together but don’t forget to nurture your own interests .
✅ diet, I still say the 80/20 rule is the best way to live!

  • ◾️Easy Chicken Stir Fry◾️ •cook 1LBS chicken thighs in a sauté pan on medium heat.  Use a little coconut oil for 5-6 minutes on each side depending on thickness.  Make sure there’s no pink in the center.
•remove the chicken and let it sit
•add a TBS of coconut oil to the pan and add any veggies you like.  I buy the pre mixed fresh stir fry veggies from @traderjoes to make my life easier.
•add 1 heaping TBS of garlic, pepper, and a little salt.  Stir the veggies a bit, add 1/4 cup of water and cover for 5 minutes to steam the veggies.
•cut up the chicken thighs on a cutting board into small pieces.
•add the chicken thighs back to the pan with the veggies and add some coconut aminos. I do about 5 to 6 shakes, but keep in mind you can always add more.  You also can use soy sauce if you prefer, but I think coconut aminos give the dish a nice flavor.  Stir it up and let it sit on low heat for a couple minutes. •serve over brown rice or cauli rice

The fitness competition is for all fitness levels and is meant to be fun, with an element of competition involved.
