These nourishing, balancing supplements make a wonderful addition to your pet’s diet and are appropriate for many types of animals! Of course, food lays the foundation for health in any creature. Be sure your animal is eating a high-quality, nutritious diet to help address the possible underlying cause of a condition before relying on herbs. 🐕
Nettle (Urtica dioica) leaf is a safe, nutritive herb with a fishy taste that appeals to animals. It supports the immune system and soothes the inflammatory response, which makes it helpful for animals with fleas and hot spots. Try mixing dried nettle leaves into your animal’s food or apply a nettle infusion mixed with yogurt to itchy bites and hot spots. 🌱
You can use Clark’s Rule for dosage guidelines when giving nettle to your animals: based on a known adult human dose, divide the animal’s weight (in pounds) by 150 to get the fraction of the adult dose you should use. 💫
Bone broth is helpful for restoring the body, building up the blood, strengthening digestion, and boosting the immune system. Try hydrating an animal’s food with bone broth or providing a bowl of broth to your animal regularly for these benefits. 💚
The mental and emotional state of an animal plays a vital part in their overall health (as it does for humans, too!). Flower essences can be especially helpful for common behavioral issues like stress, fear, and anxiety. 🌸
Although you can support your pet through many common ailments with herbs, please keep in mind: if your pet is behaving abnormally, take them for a visit to your local veterinarian.

Who keep shooting their advices of getting Simba teethers, scratch pads etc. Let me tell you, I have every possible toy he can scratch or chew or play with. He literally doesn't care about the toys. But he prefers chewing on to my clothes, playing with curtains pillows, scratching on the walls, scratching on my rug.
Ma: I wonder what's going on in her teeny-tiny brain.
Me: First, to create a distraction. Go find the closest bra and pull out to the hall. When she's after it, find shoe and take it to the balcony. While there, pee so she'll have to clean up. Sneak into the kitchen and jump 2 feet for the omelette. Might get killed in the process, but at least it's with omelette in da mouth!
HE WAS DUMPED 😭😥💔
Thank you goodness, someone, was ruthless to abandon this dog. I know you are asking WHAT?
You see Zac was an RSPCA special. He was let go as he jumped 6-foot fences. He was sacred, lost, and did not know how to connect with humans. There were no cuddles, no connection and he did not know how to be inside.
After many hours of training and connection and of course Medical Intuition, Zac has blossomed into the most loyal friend and family member for all of us.
This gorgeous dog has brought me so much love, is a guiding light to my new Animal Medical Intuitive courses, stared on the front cover of magazines and been my fur friend who helps me to exercise and relax!
Thank you, Zac for entering my life.
Thank you for trusting me
Thank you for awakening me to animal talk.
It is true love with Zac.
Absolute love to each and every animal and of course Zac
Most wormers have limited residual activity, meaning pets can be reinfected between doses and owner compliance is vital. Unlike other wormers, with regular monthly use Advocate continually protects pets from most intestinal worms and heartworm. So everyone can rest easy.
My mom had along talk with me on respecting the things I have and I apawlogized because thats the pawspecful thing to do. I want to say thank you @k9ballistics because sleeping on the floor was getting ruff. 😂

People who love dogs often talk about a "lifetime dog", an expression coined by 'A Good Dog' author Jon Katz. Lifetime dogs are dogs that we love in especially powerful, sometimes inexplicable ways.
Some people have one dog in their life that meant everything to them, that stood out in their hearts and memories. Sometimes it was a dog that entered their life at a critical juncture or changed their life. When an owner is lucky enough to share part of their life with a lifetime dog, they can all agree that loving a dog can be a powerful experience.
My lifetime dog is a white staffy called Yoji - a loving, happy and devoted creature. She has little velvet ears that flop when she walks and can usually be found walking around with rice kernels stuck on her nose after dinner time (swipe right to meet Yoji💘)
Do you have a lifetime dog? Who are they?

Thought I'd add a tiny portrait of my little angel PNut.. he was my faithful companion & sidekick for 13 years. Tragically this past June while we were out on a walk, a dog that was off leash came out of nowhere & attacked & killed my little man in front of me... For me, it still haunts me now & I'm still not really over the loss of my PNut. Losing a pet is like losing family, and to lose your ride or die homie that's been there with you for 13 years... it sucks.
So sending out my love to those of you fur-parents out there that have ever lost your best fur-friend... may we have many visits with those we've lost in our dreams! .

I am frequently asked about cannabis and pets, and as the mother to four fur-babies, it is a topic I take very seriously! First things first: Keep all cannabis products safely away from curious kitty and puppy paws! Dot here is under close supervision because I know that consuming THC can have averse effects on animals, just like in humans. While I admittedly have seen and met dogs who enjoy being *around* cannabis smoke, I think it is cruel to force that on your pup, so just don’t be that asshole blowing smoke in your dog’s face, ok? Also, there appears to be great promise for CBD in pet products, with results similar to humans: pain management, anti-anxiety and seizure suppression. We have been lucky and haven’t had to seek out treatment for our two cats and two dogs, but I would use CBD in a heartbeat if needed. What are your favorite cannabis pet products? 🐶🐱🐶🐱🐶🐱🐶🐱🐶 #cbd#cbdpets#petparent#rescuedog#adoptdontshop 🐾 #petproducts#cannabissafety#petsafety#puppymom

Calling all pet parents, how do you keep track of your pups vet visits and history? I have a big binder with every piece of paperwork I have on my pups and have been doing that for years. Unfortunately when I have to find specifics that means I have years of paperwork to go through that doesn’t necessarily show the smaller details from visits, ie did we test this lump or discuss future concerns. So I added these journals earlier this year that track notes from each vet visit and where I can add notes throughout the year on things to follow up during our next visit. And yes, I have a book just for my foster pups and it details not only medical but all the training and quirks we discover along the way. #petparent#stayingorganized#dogsofinstagram
So mom has officially lost it 😭 Last night, we went for a walk in town and halfway there I caught scent of a certain greyhound buddy of mine! We joined up with Ned and his mom in Lush and went for a potter around town, popping into the dog friendly shops along the way! One of those shops was @flyingtiger who had these RIDICULOUS reindeer antlers for sale. Now mom lost her shit when she realised that the antlers fit my head perfectly and proceeded to buy a pair there and then! She was laughing so hard she had to leave the shop whilst Ned and his mom picked up their own pair! As much as I complain about how stupid I look sporting a rack, I dont mind wearing them at all, and the smiles on people's faces when I walk by makes it all worth it ❤🦌❤

On #MotivationMonday , this is my reminder that sometimes, you need a day off! With my hectic schedule of greyhound and animal rights work, environmental awareness and working with various rescue groups, I can get very caught up in things, so it's important to step back and spend the day roaching on the bed in order to avoid burnout! This time of year can be hectic for lots of reasons- exam stress and assignment deadlines, extra work load and customer increase with xmas around the corner, more money going on things like heating and the sniffles, the list goes on and on; so this is as friendly reminder to take some time to just breathe! Make yourselves a cuppa, grab a bikkie and unwind for a few! Make sure to look after yourself ❤

A little napping on daddy's lap.
Was an exiting day running around on the fields and hunting for rodants!
But she didn't caught any.
She's really a little bundle of joy and being alot of work actually but still, it's always worth it to have a dog living with you.
