  • Brendon “Who?” Todd. One time tour winner 5(!) years ago thought he should call a fellow pro (6 wins in the last year alone) a “nut” when asked why he didn’t play with single length irons too. Now we understand that not everyone wants to play with such irons or that Chambeau isn’t for everyone (he’ll show up here soon, no doubt) but Todd should know his place; the back of the line. Villain Score = armchair professional #brendontodd #golfvillains #villain #everybodylovesavillain #golfvillain #golf #golfer #pga #brysondechambeau

  • Golf lessons are great! BUT they are the shiny object that most people just can’t seem to take their eyes off of. Let me ask you this question: why would you try to get your body into contorted positions without understanding 1) If you can even currently make that shape with your body and, 2) How to create the shapes you need for a golf swing in such a way that promotes stability and repetition. What is your stability strategy? Let’s fix your body first, understand how to create stable and powerful shapes - then we can make an easy transition into golf swing instruction.

  • Pleased to have Rory @rorymcilroy make his debut on #WhyWinnersWin after his W @theplayerschamp 🏆 With a 1-shot lead on the 72nd hole of the tournament, he faced one of the toughest tee shots in all of tournament golf. Before hitting his drive, he drew back on his experience at the 2008 Hong Kong Open. Like at TPC Sawgrass, he was uncomfortable with the tee shot at 18 all week. He relived how in the final round 11 years ago, with a chance to win, he committed to the shot and piped the drive 💣

I talk with many of my students about the importance of having a “highlight reel” in their head from which they can draw upon. The pros do this too! Rory exemplifies this here, which allowed him to go ahead and hit the fairway on 18 to win THE PLAYERS ⛳️

  • How good was Rors on Sunday!? He's put his early season success down to a change in his mental game, focusing on the process and not the result.

  • The final stop of my “east coast swing” was Pinehurst #2 There is so much history in this place and it’s a personal favorite of mine after attending the 1999 US Open championship and watching Payne Stewart win on the 18th green. Possibly the highlight of any sporting event I’ve ever attended.

  • To say TPC Sawgrass was the highlight of the trip is an understatement. I would call it a bucket list moment for sure. Standing on #17 green with no one in sight was like being dropped into a dream with a camera!

  • What an incredible few weeks It’s been. So lucky to have traveled a few stops on the PGA tour and photograph some courses I’ve always wanted to visit! Hope to be doing this quite a bit more in the near future!

  • This was the 1988 Bing Crosby in Winston Salem NC.
That is Michael Jordan with Chicago Bear QB Jim McMahon. They thew a football around most if the day and Mike talked about how his arm was as stronger than Jim's. Lots of trash talk that day!
