Domestika nos ofreció hacer un curso explicando como es nuestro proceso para hacer un cortometraje y decidimos mostrarlo a través de una situación simple, como es la de abrir una caja y sorprenderse con lo que hay adentro. Nosotros decidimos abrir la caja de "Escher". La elegimos por su riqueza visual y le pedimos a cada alumno que abra su propia caja con el concepto que quiera.

Domestika offered us to make a course explaining how is our process to make a short film and decided to show it through a simple situation, such as opening a box and be surprised by what is inside. We decided to open "Escher's" box. We choose it for its visual richness and we ask each student to open their own box with a concept they choose.
#tbt to an old illustration I created back in editorial class at the @academy_of_art. I loved this class because it was the first time I really got to break the technical rules and let concept be king. I fell in love with the challenge of communicating deep messages in a concise, striking visual and I still love that process. This is kinda the first example to the evolution of what my style is now!
Day 20 🙋🏻♀️ Two large, oversized bags to check please. Actually, they're under my eyes. It's been a week of family cycling through sickness, plumbing issues and trying to meet deadlines throughout. All part of life and good reminders to appreciate the days were things align nicely BUT man, oh, man am I tired. 😴 So I'm embracing bags today. I wish the ones under my eyes were as colorful as these carpet bags, mine are just the bluish, purplish garden variety type of bag. #100DaysOfEmbrace
