  • Swipe ➡️ to see the beautiful colors on this babe 💕 I just want it to live! 😫
**This is going to be a looong post! ☺️**
It is day 5 and I have still not seen any spider mites😭😍🙏🏻 Since I discovered them last Sunday, I told myself no matter what if there were still mites in one week then she has to go.
This is what I did;
Day 1: I freaked out. I sprayed the entire plant down with a neem oil mix spray (neem oil, dish soap, water) about 4 or 5 times, letting it dry completely in between. Then I took some cotton pads and wiped the entire plant down with the neem oil spray and then again with water (making sure to get the underside of the leaves super well). Again with pure neem oil (only a little, I just wanted to create a barrier on the leaves). And again with the neem oil mix spray later on (make sure to get under the leaves! Where the eggs are 😣)
**Now I am an amateur at all this! I was clearly just panicking so I may have overdone it. 🤷🏻‍♀️** Day 2: Sprayed down the plant with neem oil mix in the morning and once I got home from work.
Day 3: I was beginning to feel bad for brutalizing the plant so I made a super diluted mixture of just water and dish soap, I sprayed it down, let it dry completely, and then rinsed really well with water. (I had not seen any more spider mites at this time)
Day 4: Myself and my boyfriend checked it really well, and no spider mites! No little webs or anything. I still sprayed it down twice 🤷🏻‍♀️I hear the eggs hatch in 3-5 days, so I’m being cautious.
Day 5: It is early in the morning and I did an inspection 😂 not seeing anything! I will spray it down with the neem oil mix and again with water maybe one or two times.
I’ll keep y’all updated! I hope i am winning this battle 🤞💚🌱✨ #spidermites #tiplant #plantsmakepeoplehappy #houseplants #houseplantsofinstagram #house_plant_community #plants #plantmom #plantlady #urbanjungle #livingwithplants #plantpraylove #lifewithplants #needmoreplants #plantcommunity #indoorplants #botanicalwoman #plantsofinstagram #plantparenthood #pottedplants #plantshelfie #indoorgarden #iloveplants #girlswithplants #houseplantclub #theplantyclub #terracotta #nofilterneed

  • I hope this baby will forgive me for my terrible COH potting skills 🥴😬💖🥰 I’m letting them sit under a grow light and whenever there’s full sunshine out to get some of that pinky glow 💓 When I water them I try not to get any of the hearts wet or let them sit in moistness/water for too long. If you have any tips or advice for COH let me know below, it will be much appreciated 🥰 I hope you’re all having a beautiful weekend so far!
