Jairangam's eighth edition came to an end with Makarand Deshpande's play "MISS BEAUTIFUL"
Written and Directed by Makarand Deshpande, who has always been the ubiquitous, mind-stirring writer who has evoked the audience’s feelings without treading on the down-trodden path of conveying a message. The directorial touches are unrestricted and the play seeps of strong doses of superb acting from the actors. The play revolves around a family where the parents have been forcing their son to get married and ends up making their son faking up his own marriage. Unlike any other play we see A PLAY IN A PLAY ! A must watch story.
Kuddos to the whole team and I can't stop congratulating and admiring the work of whole @jairangam team.

An article has been making the rounds in social media circles the last two years titled “The Silent Tragedy,” written by psychiatrist Luis Rojas Marcos. In the article, the author describes the issues facing parents and children today in this media-saturated, technological age.
“Only when we are at our most playful can divinity finally get serious with us.” Liz Gilbert
Play is not a luxury. It is an essential human need. A physical, emotional, and spiritual imperative.
I'm on a mission to bring us back to play, not just so we can all be happy and have fun. No, while that's lovely, that's not it.
I'm on a mission to bring us all back to play because it is when we lose ourselves in play that we find ourselves again. We reconnect with our essential human nature. It reminds us of who we truly are. The parts of you deep down inside that may feel lost or forgotten.
Play truly IS the way home.
My wish for you today and every day is that play not only becomes something you do often, but more importantly I hope that play deepens into your way of being.
So for the sake of connecting to the divine in each of us, may we bring a playful spirit to everything we do. (yes even unloading the dishes... just throw a few dance moves in there!) Big Love,

Less gadgets, more actual play. 😊 We still do allow our kids to use gadgets (especially Kelly, who is working on animations), but it’s now limited to weekends or, during breaks, an hour a day. The rest of the day is spent playing, reading, or out and about with us.
I noticed that they become hot-tempered or get overly active whenever they stay on the phone/tablet too long kaya hindi na talaga pwede matagal. Our pedia said upto 2 hours daily is allowed, but if possible, lessen pa.
What’s your gadget use rule in your household? 📱
