This dress remind me of biriyani which I miss so much here 😭 honestly, the Biriyani doesn't even come close to the one from back home. Especially the Aloo. The aloo is EVERYTHING 😭 And that's just missing.. What in the world is biriyani without the aloo??

Appreciate this moment. Stop and look around you. Be thankful for all you have and where you are because this time next year, nothing will be the same. 
I love making snaps on snapchat because they have this feature of memories wherein you can see all the snaps you made a year ago or 2 years ago on the same day. Sometimes when I look at those snaps it makes me realise how life changes. It really flips around. Every day is a new day and things keep changing around us and within us. We might think nothing is changing but when we look back, a lot has changed. 
When you get that feeling to go for it, don't hesitate. The worst thing that could happen is that you run out of time to do what your heart begged you to do. 
When I look back, a lot has changed. I've become wiser, more positive, stronger, happier and full of life. A year ago, I could never think of being where I am today. Never give up for there is always light at the end. Keep moving. Keep hoping. Keep loving.

I've learned that no matter what happens, or how bad it seems today, life does go on, and it will be better tomorrow. I've learned that regardless of your relationship with your parents, you'll miss them when they're gone from your life. I've learned that making a "living" is not the same as making a "life". I've learned that life sometimes gives you a second chance and you must grab it. Use the lessons you've learnt before and live that second chance. I've learned that you shouldn't go through life with a catcher's mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back. I've learned that whenever I decide something with an open heart, I usually make the right decision. I've learned that everyday you should reach out and touch someone. People love a warm hug, or just a friendly pat on the back. 
I've learnt that I still have a lot to learn. I've learnt that people will forget what you said, people will forget what you did but people will never forget how you made them feel. Make them feel appreciated, loved, wanted. Make your being count in this world. Make a difference. Spread happiness and positivity, be grateful and glad for everything you have.

I've come back from nanital today and we travelled for 8 hours by road and I was very tired. After reaching Delhi I realised my umbrella has broken so I had to go to the market to buy a new one in case it rains tomorrow. I had to buy a notebook for college too so I went to a stationary shop in central market. I was very tired and was a bit irritated too. When I was getting the notebook billed, the total amount was Rs.110. I didn't have change so I gave a 500rs note. The owner was an old man and he asked me if I had 10rs change but I didn't have it so he gave me 300rs and 10rs ke 9 notes. While giving me the 10rs notes he said, "gudiya tune mera saara change leliya" and I smiled back. After giving me the due amount, he said , "aapko pata hai what is the brightest thing on your face?" I was kind of confused but I asked him what it was and he said, "your smile. Whatever happens in life, never let go of it." In a moment, my mood changed. I felt happy and I thanked him for the compliment and went but after coming out of the shop I realised how irriated I was before entering the shop and how a small compliment changed my mood completely. 
Too often we underestimate the power of a touch, a smile, a kind word, a listening ear, an honest compliment, or the smallest act of caring, all of which have the potential to turn a life around. 
I'm so grateful that we still have people who don't think twice before complimenting other people and encouraging them. The world is a better place because of these people and I'm grateful for them today. Even I try to be honest and complement someone if I like something about someone. It takes a minute for us to do so but can change the entire day of that person. 🌸
Choose to be kind and honest always.

#Day80 #Alhamdulilah (Again the WiFi went off and I couldn't post yesterday so here it is) 
Again, you can't connect the dots looking forward ; you can only connect them looking backwards. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something - your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life. 
Life is short. We spend so much time sweating the small stuff, worrying, complaining, gossiping, comparing, wishing, wanting and waiting for something bigger and better instead of focusing on all the simple blessings that surround us everyday. 
Life is so fragile and all it takes is a single moment to change everything you take for granted. Focus on what's important and be grateful. You are blessed. Believe it and that is what makes all the difference. Live your life and leave no regrets. 
In life, friendships change, divorces happen, people move on, others die. Money and jobs will come and go. Live long enough and your health and body will change. It goes with the territory of being human. The fact that you are still here gives you an advantage. Don't look back. Look straight ahead. Decide to use all your knowledge, skills, experiences and your life lessons from your mistakes, defeats and setbacks to start over again. Life changes. Accept and live to your fullest.

Don't miss out on something that could be great just because it could also be difficult. Always go with the choice that scares you the most, because that's the one that is going to help you grow. Look for challenges.  Success comes after you've achieved something and you achieve something after going through struggle. The best view comes after the hardest climb. So look out for challenges. Don't sit and have an ordinary life. Don't pray for an easy life. Pray for the strength to endure a difficult one. 
Always remember that you've been assigned this mountain to show others it can be moved. ✨

#Day78 #Alhamdulilah
(I missed yesterday's post because I had no network here and the WiFi wasn't working either. I wrote the post yesterday in my notes.) Okay guys so I'm writing today's post being half numb. I'm still numb. Whoever knows me personally knows that I HATE snakes. Absolutely HATEEEE them. I think they're the most creepy creatures on Earth. I always used to say that I would faint the moment I saw a snake. I used to feel snakes crawling on me if I even thought about them. I've come to nanital today and the first thing I asked the receptionist at my resort was if there are snakes here. He said with confidence that nahi nahi ma'am , yahan garmiyon mein hote hai, winters mein toh baat hi nahi hai. I felt comfortable after that but I still cross checked with the waiters because I was still skeptical about it as it's so green around us and our resort is literally in the middle of a forest but everyone here was so confident I thought sach bolrahe hain. I started roaming around freely. Around 8pm we decided to come down to a shop to buy some chips and chocolates and my cousins were walking in front of me. They stopped at a place and said very calmly, "yahan saanp hai". I thought itni calmly bolrahe hain - they might be just pulling my leg. After one second I reached where they were standing and guess what I saw....a god-damn snake... Oh god. I saw a snake!!!! I'm still numb. I always thought I'd faint when I see a snake because I was somewhat phobic of snakes. But I didn't. I handled it very calmly that time. I moved away from there and called the receptionist. He killed the snake and threw him..... Ugh. I'm still scared of snakes but now that I've seen one for the first time - I'm sure I'll be less scared the next time I see any. (If I ever do). So today I'm just grateful for not fainting after I saw a snake. Believe me it's a very very big thing for me.. Be grateful today and everyday. There are small things to be grateful for every day. 🌻
