Fertility Update: Last year I briefly mentioned in a post that in April I got pregnant naturally and had a very early miscarriage due to low hormone levels. With my diagnosis of Premature Ovarian Insufficiency (Early Menopause), conceiving naturally is rare, but when it happens it’s spontaneous and feels like a true miracle. The short lived pregnancy in April left us feeling hopeful. Prior to that, we weren’t sure if we’d ever be able to conceive. So when it happened, although we were sad it didn’t work out, we took it as a good sign. We thought “If it happened once, surely it can happen again. And if it happens again we’ll consult with the doctor and immediately supplement with the right hormones to prevent another miscarriage.”
Well, it happened again. The week before Christmas I found out I was pregnant again. And sadly, though I started taking the extra hormones per doctor’s instruction right away, I lost the pregnancy right before the new year. This loss was more disappointing than the first, because I thought for sure everything would be fine this time as I was doing what I hadn’t done in the April pregnancy. But blood work showed that my progesterone and estrogen levels were still too low. There are tons of details I want to share with you guys about both pregnancies, but I’ll share them in my YouTube video because Instagram captions are limited.
I’ll admit it feels somewhat uncomfortable to share personal things like this. But since I’ve shared about my health/fertility journey from the beginning, I’ll continue to, because it helps others. I get messages every single week from women who have similar conditions and are struggling with health/fertility. They let me know that I’ve made them feel less alone. That’s why I share. That’s why I’ll continue to be vulnerable even when it’s not comfortable.
Thank you to everyone who has sent supportive messages over the past year and a half of this fertility journey. The fact that so many of you are invested in this part of our lives is very heartwarming to us.
Sol and I are okay. We remain optimistic and take comfort in knowing that no matter what happens, we’re going to have an incredible life together. ❤️
Tema Hari ini itu #SERU .
Tapi saya bukannya mau cerita tentang ke-seru-an saya melakukan suatu kegiatan 😅
Contoh nih :
Enak Seru = Enak Banget
Ngakak Seru = Ngakak Banget
Adem Seru = Dingin Banget
Kata SERU bagi warga GRESIK ini sama kok pemakaian katanya seperti dari daerah2 lain ini :
Madura 👉 Soro (Enak Soro = enak banget)
Sumatra 👉 Nian (Lama Nian = Lama Banget)
Anak gaul 👉 Bingit (Keren bingit = keren banget)
Nah kalau bunda biasa pakai kata apa sih buat mengekspresikan kata "banget"? Share yuk 😍
Sambil diingat2 bisa cuci mata liat hijab cantik dibawah ini yaaa.
