I wrote this post almost a year ago and I still stand for every single word. Passion is in my blood 🎈
When I was small, the professional bowling was such an abstract for me.
Professional bowlers were the people I could only see on TV with little understanding on how they managed to get there.
I never dreamed of becoming a professional simply because I didn’t know how to get there or what it takes. I have always loved bowling and even when I had zero understanding from my peers, teachers... I didn’t care to prove people who don’t see bowling as a sport that I am an athlete.
I bowled simply because I’ve always loved it.
Up to this day, I compete not to prove anything to anyone, I compete because nothing in this world gives me so much joy.
In 2017 when I opened my Facebook page my goal was to bring professional bowling closer to you, so that way you have an insight of what it is to be a professional bowler, what does it take, who are we - the people you see bowl on TV.
I promised myself that I will be transparent,
I will share my ups and downs with you.
I have learnt the hard way that it is not easy to put yourself on the spotlight, to share with everyone little more than most athletes.
It is not easy to read criticism, to take hate but I so truly believe that for as long as I stay true to my purpose there is nothing that can stay in my way, because somewhere out there, there is a person who I can motivate.
Keep bowling people ❤️
