Here's another older video...from about 2yrs ago. Just thought I'd share for newer followers who may have missed it. I'll have something new next week!! Also, thanks for suggestions on content. Very helpful. I will definitely make some real time videos coming up.

Our brains are finely tuned to recognize eye direction. When someone is looking at us, the pupil, iris and the eyeball make concentric circles. That is to say, the center point of each circle is the same.
If someone isn’t looking at us, the circles change to ellipses and their centers no longer line up. I will do another post illustrating that soon.
But for now we have perfect concentric circles looking straight at us. The head can be tilted up, down or to the side. It does not matter, if all the circles line up.
If you want an eye or eyes in a painting to be looking at the viewer, then you have to paint those circles so they line up.
Smagu, kai ateina ruduo.🧺🙈🍁🍂💐🌸
Šiuo metų laiku gimę man labai mylimi žmonės, 🌞🌚ruduo pripildo kava ankstyvus rytinius puodelius.
*Išgerti vyšnių skonio kavos;
*Paskaityti apie rudens/žiemos madų tendencijas;
*parašyti atviruką draugui ar giminaičiui gyvenančiam kitoje šalyje!
*nusipirkti įkvepiančią knygą, kurią skaitysite lietingais vakarais;
*Supakuoti vasarinius drabužius, o šiltus megztukusišdėlioti gražiausiai derančiom spalvom📦.
Susigalvoti naują, sau tinkančią šukuoseną.🤷🏽♀️ kokios šukuosenos tinka po kepurėmis?:0
*Pagaminti rudeninį obuolių pyragą!🥰
*Pasigaminti kvapnius ir sveikus pietus!
* Ant palangės išsidaiginti tulpę ar hiacintą!
*Peržiūrėti praieto rudens nuotraukas;
*Prisiminti tai, ko nesuspėjai padaryti praeita rudenį;
*Stebėti meteoru lietu!
*Aplankyti bent kelis Lietuvos dvarus, dažniusiai rudens metu juose būna labai gražu.
*Palydėti saulėlydį labiausiai mėgiamoje vietoje;
*tamsiau ir ryškiau pasidažyti lūpas;
*dažniau apsikabinti artima, juk rudens metu visiems liūdniau🧸🎈
Parašykite ir man, ka pasiūlytumėte nuveikti rudens metu!;***🚿

I’ve been drawing a lot of faces lately and thinking about painting some. I was actually thinking about resurrecting my self-portrait-a-day project, which I did religiously for an entire year when I turned thirty. No milestone birthday coming, so maybe that level of commitment will have to wait... But anyway, I dug out some of my favorite faces from way back, when I was obsessed with painting portraits. Many thanks to my amazing “models” @nancyortiz__ and @algarinstudio ⭐️ I’m going to show these two at House of Mark West @houseofmarkwest (opening party this weekend) and I’m inspired to start painting portraits again.
On my trip to town with Toby, I also saw one of my fave portraits by Andrea del Sarto. So it got the Rabbit Mask repaint. This is the most effort I’ll go to with a portrait, I usually use some sneaky tricks to speed things up. But you learn a lot this way, and repainting classical pieces was a big part of my art journey. Plus, some people criticise my photo-bashing and this vid shows that I can paint from a blank canvas. What do you think folks? Sarto or narto? All the best, Bryn x #digital_art#portraitpainting#portraits#photoshopartwork#painterly#painter#painters#nationalgallery#imaginefx

This painting is of a man, who my father, my sister and I met, at the Chaukhandi tombs, just outside the main city of Karachi, in Pakistan.
The tombs are covered in intricate designs and served as a graveyard for the Jokhio tribe, dating back to the 15th-18th century.
While observing and studying the elaborate carvings, a man appeared from amongst the graves and just watched us from a distance. He maintained his distance until eventually coming closer and then just began explaining abit of the history behind the structures.
He asked where we were headed to next and turned out he was going in the same direction and he offered to guide us around the area. We all got in the car (him front seat next to my dad) and began driving to the next location.
Eventually the area began to change and the buildings began to look more worn down, and I noticed his demeanour had dramatically changed. He looked back and advised my sister that it might be wise to put her dupata (her scarf) over her head. When asked why, he very calmly explained that we may have taken a wrong turn and were now in a Talibanised area, and some of the men outside were just that. Taliban.
Eventually, when at the next location, we thanked him for all his help and took a photo with him. He too then brought out an old LG flip phone and asked if he could take a picture with us. He did, and then went on his way. (Painted this about 4 years ago, and it has laid incomplete ever since. Progressed a lot since then and a lot more to come.)
