Klingt das nicht unfassbar schön & einfach? Jeder von uns hat diesen Satz schon einmal gehört & ich bin mir sicher, dass auch jeder von uns diesen Ratschlag einmal weitergegeben hat. Aber denkt ihr immer positiv? Ist es überhaupt möglich, immer positiv zu denken?

Ich erwische mich immer wieder dabei, schlechte Szenarien durchzuspielen oder Ängsten in meinem Kopf Raum zu geben. Davon kann sich glaube ich niemand freisprechen.. wichtig dabei ist es jedoch, es früh genug zu erkennen und daran zu denken, dass ihr die Macht über Eure Gedanken habt. Wenn ich mich wieder dabei ertappe an etwas negatives zu denken, dann versuche ich sofort den Gedanken in etwas positives umzuwandeln. Schiebt es nicht einfach auf Seite, sondern wandelt den Gedanken bewusst um und versucht ein paar Minuten daran festzuhalten.

  • Never give up the things that make you smile. 
Working out makes me happy. I used to only workout because I knew I had to get "skinny" but fuck the word "skinny" anymore.  I workout  because it gives me energy, makes me feel good, and had made my body and more so my mind strong. I also love it because I have the opportunity to help others reach their own health and fitness goals. Two on my girls on my team this week reached out to me for some extra accountability and I am so glad they reached out because I needed the accountability too! We support each other. Just because I am their coach doesn't me they just need MY help I need THEIR help just as much!  I do not preach about working out cause I want to brag, I preach about it because I was where YOU were before. "I don't have the time to work out."
"I don't have the energy and motivation."
"My kids will distract me."
"Eating healthy is expensive ." Been there and said that people. I said all these things but these were just limiting beliefs. 
It's ok to be afraid that you might fail.
It's's ok to feel like you can't do it. 
It's ALL OK. That is what I am here for.

  • Sitting outside enjoying a slow morning is feeling like a vacation today for me. Feeling the sunshine, the birds chirping and the fresh air is like a gift. Yes, all at the same time my foot is burning. I didn’t sleep great between the storms + the moments where my pain multiplies and wakes me in screams: the burning, the feeling of being stabbed with a knife, or the spasms that last forever. But I have the choice every day to let the pain steal my joy and every day I fight as hard as possible to make sure I win and the pain does not. #choosejoy
