  • No one wants to say that other people’s opinions are the problem, because it‘s embarrassing. But for most us, it’s also true.

It may be your parents. Or people
you went to high school with. Or the mom from work or church. But most of us are holding onto the weight of their subjective opinions instead of leaning into the callings of our lives. 
The truth is that I got goosebumps when @jennaelysee shared about this. Because I know exactly how she feels. Subconsciously, I carried that weight through the first two and a half decades of my life. Then two years ago I woke up. 
When I started the process of letting them go, I would hear people say things like “Other people’s opinions of you don’t matter”. And all I could think was HOW? How do you get from caring to not caring? What are the steps? Is there anything I can do to speed it up?

  • Here are a couple pictures from this weeks check ins. 
I don’t always see what’s happening on my back side so this is mind blowing to see what’s happening. 
I’m at my lowest weight at 139.0lb. I’m leaner and more muscular now than I’ve ever been. 
Just goes to show when you follow the plan and are consistent with what you’re doing huge changes will happen. Seeing this makes me want to work harder and push to go further. 
Nothing will stop me. I have a dream that will never stop me and the hunger to make sure I’m consistent to achieve those goals. 
Some big changes are around the corner and I cannot wait to level up and achieve them so I can accomplish more

  • Third technique for stress management is Physical Activity. Physical activity is a huge stress reliever— and so even when you don’t feel like moving at all when stressed, try and push just a little. Exercise releases endorphins that make you feel good, and it can also serve as a valuable distraction from your daily worries.
While you’ll get the most benefit from exercising regularly for 30 minutes or more, the first and most important step is to get yourself up and moving. Here are some easy ways to incorporate exercise into your daily schedule:
* Put on some music and dance around
* Take your dog for a walk
* Walk or cycle to the grocery store
* Use the stairs at home or work rather than an elevator
* Park your car in the farthest spot in the lot and walk the rest of the way
* Pair up with an exercise partner and encourage each other as you work out
* Play ping-pong or an activity-based video game with your kids.

While just about any form of physical activity can help burn away tension and stress, RHYTHMIC ACTIVITIES  such as walking, running, swimming, dancing, cycling, tai chi, and aerobics are especially effective. .

  • 🎞 CINEMA TREATS 🎞⁣

I took the children to see Paw Patrol today, so I planned in advance what to take with us so that we weren’t tempted by all the snacks etc at the cinema!⁣ 🍿🌭⁣
⁣⁣
And it got me thinking... I thought about what i would have done before, and how many calories i would have mindlessly consumed whilst watching a film (not to mention how much 💷 i would’ve spent!)⁣⁣
⁣⁣
So I drew up this little comparison of what I had today vs what I would’ve had before being on plan...⁣
⁣⁣
And I am a bit shocked! 
I knew it would obviously be higher calories and sugar but 1297?!! Woah! 
Plus that superfluous amount of calories would’ve cost me £15+! What I had today cost less than a fiver. 
Could’ve bought another cinema ticket with the savings!⁣ 📽🎟⁣

It’s just mad when you consider stuff like this. 
It didn’t change my experience of the film, I still thoroughly enjoyed it, had tasty snacks and a nice brew! And zero guilt~ Bonus!⁣ ⁣

  • Today I went rowing in a fine boat for the first time. After a super panicky start and deciding I was never going back, it was actually a successful hour on the river and I had a bloody great time! Yay for rowing 🚣‍♀️
