#REPOST look at our amazing Tina!!! 70lbs lost! Her testimonial is a must read ❣️❣️❣️ “I’m 42 years old. I'm a wife, mother to 3 active kids and I work full time. I’ve always struggled with my weight and my eating habits. I have chronic back issues, and diabetes runs on both sides of my family. I am NOT an athletic person. But I decided to give GFit a try not even fully knowing what it was. I wound up loving it so much that I brought my 22 year old along and she wound up loving it just as much. AND what's more, thanks to GFit my relationship with my daughter has scored by leaps and bounds! What more could a mom ever ask for? For me personally, my Gfit Cherry Hill crew welcomed me right in and motivated me to try so many new things i had never done before. When I first started I was the slowest, couldn’t jump rope, had little to no endurance to run the 100 meters and my mind couldn’t even fathom doing a real box jump! I am proud to say while I am probably still the slowest, I have accomplished doing all of these challenges plus some! And I could not have done it without the culture that Gfit encourages of women supporting each other. During one class when I first started running the 200 meters, I was struggling to run my last 200 meter lap in my workout. 2 of my girls saw me and even though they were done their run, they took another lap right along with me to help me finish. Another time, I was doing 50 Burpees in 8 minutes for the first time? I had 20 more to go and was struggling. 2 girls saw me struggling and even though they had just done theirs, they came over and did 20 more with me. Crushing goals because we really are ‘Stronger Together.” What I'm most thankful to Gfit for is helping me to be the most healthy version of myself that I can be. I had been at my heaviest being 275 lbs when I started Gfit last September. As of this month of April, I'm down 70bs! In pants sizes, that equates to going from at least 22/24 down to a 14/16!! I know I will hit all the other goals I still have on my list! GFit’s ‘stronger together’ culture is something I have come to thrive on to help me stay accountable and keep going.”
Am I slaying yet? .
Today is an insecure day for me.
I don’t really know, maybe it’s just being sick and underslept, maybe it’s the weather. Maybe it is because I hadn’t worked out in days?
Gym time and barre time really have become a source of confidence for me. As much as I’ve always struggled to enjoy looking in a mirror, seeing the growing strength in those mirrors now makes me smile and absolutely boosts my mood. .
Most days at least. .
☀️If you’re interested in the plan helping me lose weight it’s 21 day meal plan. (Link is in my bio)

Not that my life isn't filled with wonderful things right now, but I want to appreciate who and what I do have and cultivate more of my favorite things ✨ Life is short! Working on my bucket list and a concrete plan to check some things off 💕 Too many days I've spent whole mornings doing nothing to further my mind, body, and soul - and without taking care of those three, my stress level has risen and I've felt like I have no time, but I do! I just have to plan for it and make me a priority 🦋 We're given only so much time on this Earth and I'd really love to appreciate every moment, but I can't wait for opportunities to fall in my lap - I must rise up and seize them! Help fate along a bit and see where it takes me 🦄 #workingonme#selfcare#tcb#bucketlist#goals#seizetheday#carpediem#progressnotperfection

Taking this morning moment by moment. Sickness has hit our household again, so I’m hanging out at home with my boys, while trying to squeeze in a full workday. On days like these, workouts are always my saving grace. 🙏🏼 The second nap time hits, I’m getting myself on the mat with some weights to work up a much needed sweat. 😅
On the #naptimehustle schedule:
✨Bikini Arm Tone + Legs
✨@Daniellepascente#stronginspring day 🖐🏼
Happy hump day! Hope you girls are having a wonderful week so far 💗
This is my intuitive eating and movement. When spring time comes in Ohio, ya get outside as often as possible. So instead of driving, I walked myself over to Whole Foods.
I love bread. I have a deep appreciation and respect for the work that goes into making it and the joy I receive when eating it.
So, as I walked, I chomped on this loaf and thoroughly enjoyed every bite. Is this a carefully thought out, picture perfect balanced meal? Naw, it’s lacking a couple things, but in that moment it was MY version of intuitive eating.
Here is my WHY.
I have let stress and a busy schedule take over the last couple weeks which for me, 100% flairs up my colitis (a form of IBD). I’m not perfect, I’m learning how to minimize my own symptoms as best I can. During these flair ups raw vegetables, things like garlic, onion, carbonated beverages, coffee 😭😭 don’t help me feel better. BUT instead of getting stuck on the food restriction, I allow myself to let go of food rules and really listen to what my body wants.
So, as I’m taking a walk to help lower my stress, I knew I needed to get something in my belly before heading to get a little workout in. I was hungry, and definitely a little nervous about food setting me off so I took a second to walk around the store to assess what sounded good and would sit well going into a workout.
Insert a seriously lovely seedy loaf of bread that felt good in my belly, was easy to digest, and great fuel for my joyful movement.
Yes this was my meal, about 1/2 a loaf of bread. It’s taken me a long time to remove food rules and realize that eating a balanced “diet” doesn’t mean EVERY meal has to be balanced.
I let myself get curious about what I truly wanted, took some time to calm down my system, and reminded myself that I’m allowed to trust my body, even when it isn’t functioning how I would optimally like.
This is the process of intuitive eating for me. It isn’t just nutrition. It’s behavioral, it’s compassion and curiosity. It’s habits, listening, and learning to better understand. It’s giving myself permission.
What does intuitive eating and stress management look like for you??
Wednesdays are usually my night to get home on time from work (6p), walk the dog if it's nice out, cook for Thursday and Friday, workout and do laundry. Tonight was not that night. I didn't get off work until 730p. It was such a stressful short shift (I didn't go in until 1p) and I was so hungry, I decided to grab McDonald's (on top of the Chik Fil A and Wendy's and gas station food I already had this week). It's been a rough start to this week, actually last week ended rough also.
I accomplished cooking food for 2 days (roasted sweet potatoes, carrots, and cauliflower on rice) and getting laundry washed (it'll be in the dryer while I sleep). I also was able to do Day 1: Core of the 3 Week Yoga Retreat and my arms are definitely a bit shakey. So not a horrible end to a crazy day.
Day 3 of 21!! Loving this workout program so much. 30 minutes a day, new workouts everyday so you don’t get bored, and it’s hard work!! Combined with macro/micro balanced meal plan, I am so excited to see my results!! May accountability group is now open for enrollment!! Comment below or message me for details 🙂
So sweaty! I'm getting better...slowly....at Grit 26 Cardio. I did 34 burpees in the 2 min challenge but the last few or so I didn't do the jump up and just stood up...does that still count? Or should I not count it? 🙈I was gonna do a video but do you really wanna see me grimace as I try to do the high knees 3% faster? And I did go a little higher each time...as much as I could 😆 but man, I used to love/hate Grit but now I'm leaning more towards love the more I do it. The more I do it, the better I get at the moves and the more sets I can finish the more [email protected]$$ I feel which in turn boosts up my self confidence and I may not need more but in this world where sometimes I can't help but compare myself to others, I need all the self confidence I can muster. (Sorry the run on sentence, I'm too tired atm to correct it 😜) and the more I do LMOD workouts, the less I compare myself to others and compare myself to who I was before and the journey I'm on. I'm still going down the path, I could do better but at I'm moving forward and to me, that's what really matters ♥️

💥 Before-restricted diet and cardio only. I thought about food, my weight and my body image constantly. I wasn’t enjoying life to the fullest because I was too consumed by superficial things. .
After I had my first child everything changed. The things that mattered before, no longer mattered. I had to stop working out his first year of life because every time I exercised my milk supply dropped. So it was either workout or nurse my son and I chose nursing. Everyone’s story is different. That year off gave me a chance to enjoy being present in the moment and realize life was about so much more. I always knew that, but just couldn’t seem to change my habits. To say becoming a mommy changed me is an understatement and I couldn’t be more grateful! .
When I was done nursing my son, I was ready to get back into the gym with a one day at a time mindset! 1 workout a week was better than the 0x I had done all year. I discovered hiit workouts through group fitness classes and was hooked. 1 day turned into 2, then 3 and more over the course of time. I got into the best shape i had ever been in through plyometrics and strength training...who knew? You mean I didn’t have to do hours of cardio?? That was the best news! I wish I had known sooner but If I am who I am today because of my experiences. .
I have a passion for fitness and healthy living because of the years i spent a slave to it and because of my newfound freedom in it. I want to share my journey with you as i work toward getting stronger every day and I hope to encourage you guys to find a healthy balance between food and fitness! .
You don’t have to be a slave to the scale or the treadmill...you can strength train, eat more and live well too!
Wanted to share my first post for all of my new followers. There have been over 700 followers between posting and now and this is a large part of my story! Grateful to each and every one of you who chooses to follow my journey!

Build a strong body to last 💪🏼✨.
I worked out chest/shoulders today!! Split your muscle groups & give each their own proper attention & recovery.🙏🏼.
Have questions? Ask me 😄.
S/o @ozzthenics for the badass pic 😎.
Do you smoke?
If so, are you open about it? .
It’s unfortunately a pretty taboo topic still. However, the more open we are about it, the more the conversation is opened. .
I’ve been using cannabis to self-medicate for about two years now.
At first, I used it as an escape from reality because I was very depressed and struggling in life.
Today though, I am happy and healthy, using marijuana to help me relax as well as gain new perspectives and chill with good friends. .
How do you use your #cannabis ? 🌬🍁
4x12 resistance band flys
4x12 flat bench flys
4x12 cable crossover flys
4x12 dumbbell squat front raise
3x15 dumbbell shoulder press
3x15 incline skull crushers
3x15 bench dips ⁉️Did you know ......... ⁉️ The shoulder is the most moveable and unstable joint in the body. The small muscles surrounding the joint are key to keeping the joint functioning properly so it’s important to strengthen them!
Triceps are responsible for much more than you might think: 🔘Triceps make up 2/3 of the muscle in your arm.
🔘The average triceps is twice as big as the bicep. 🔘It has three separate heads 🔘The triceps muscle is mostly responsible for strengthening your arm.
🔘Triceps instigate shoulder and elbow movement.

Get yourself a Jiu Jitsu family. Just like a blood family, they'll welcome you everytime you show up, then try to destroy your self-esteem. 😅 I love my team and I love learning from everyone I grapple with, regardless of skill set. (If you look closely, you'll see me holding hands with the sexy man in white. Excited to have my #1 mat partner back in the gym with me. We get pretty handsy. 😂😂) .
Thanks to FB "memories on this day" the picture on the left popped up first thing this morning before I left the house to go workout & swim. And I'm glad it did because I was doing so well (health wise) until I got into my car accident in November, which totally threw me off for about 4 months. I've been trying to feel better and put my health first again the past couple of months. Sometimes, it can get very discouraging, but putting two pictures side by side definitely helps put things into perspective. I needed to see this today! That picture was a week before I did my very first 6 week metabolism reset!
Keep on pushing for all of those goals my friends! You've got this! 💪
Well, this happened 😂! I actually at one point almost went right over...I got a bit too aggressive.
I actually didn’t want to work out tonight... really I didn’t. I’m up at 5:15 every morning and that’s just to prep and get ready before I have to wake up the kids and get everyone out the door! 🏃🏻♀️
Life is busy...kids can push all the buttons that make you want to curl up in the fetal position and say, “OK!!! You Win!!! No need to eat the dinner I rushed home to make, just eat cereal and chocolate and bubblegum while I hunker away under a warm blanket and read!”
But, I’m supposed to be an adult so I refrained from throwing my hands in the air! 😆
Fast forward to 830pm, kids finally are in bed and now I have to summon the energy to follow a Shaun T workout!! First, the people in my challenge group are amazing and totally inspire me to get my 20 minutes in!
And I’m usually feeling pretty good afterwards and so happy I stepped up! Sometimes the hardest part is just making the choice to do it and actually following through!
I still have dishes waiting for me, I was debating baking snacks for school and prepping tomorrow’s dinner, and I have some work to do too so I can become a better coach and help others on their journey!
I’m still learning the ropes, (and there’s so much to learn) but I’m part of a great team, that is constantly supporting each other however we can! 🤝
Challenge yourself! Step out of your comfort zone! I was so hesitant to do this but I’ve already started my journey helping just a few people and I can’t wait to keep inspiring and helping others realize their potential!
Join me! Let’s do this together! It’s as simple as reaching out and asking a few questions to get you started! #challengeyourself#inspireothers#progressnotperfection
Had a good call that got me all choked up last night! It was a sweet reminder of why I started health coaching and very encouraging. I’m blessed with great friends and clients! 💜
Don’t sleep on your dreams. Don’t let any negativity creep in and feed self doubt. Be open to change, willing to stretch and grow. Put the work in! .
Do you ever question if you can even make it through a full workout? Get defeated by not knowing how to do a move? Maybe even cry at the end because, although you are drenched in sweat, it didn't feel like you did enough?
That was me after our last baby. I was coming back from being in the best shape of my life to pregnant to post partum to post abdominal surgery to starting at ground zero. Did I mention my depression and anxiety constantly tried to take over during all of that too?
It's not easy. I cried and went to therapy and even finally started taking natural "mood boosting" supplements before I finally broke down and started considering anti depressants for the second time in my life.
Being post partum is not simple. Its beyond exhausting and if you dont have 100% support it can be overwhelming like nothing else before.
Somehow I managed to climb out of my dark hole. I know it is not that easy for everyone but please know, that there is hope if you're struggling. The long days dont have to be alone. There are people out there that want to help you. I am always welcoming to anyone who reaches out for help. Mostly because I know how difficult asking for help is in itself.
I practiced healthy routines. With my workouts I placed them where I could at first, to release endorphins, but slowly I was able to gain enough momentum to schedule them for every single morning. Slowly I cut back on the random treats and over indulging so now it's easier to know how to balance my foods. I cut back on the music (still use it because music is life) and instead get ready for an audible self help book or inspiring podcast.
It's the little things we forget to fill our souls with that starts to slowly drain us. Next thing we know we are fighting to stay above water again.
Don't be alone. I would love to help you form those healthy steps to a more joyous version of you. Reach out and let's chat 💕

Day 10 of our celery juice challenge and feeling fine! I will keep this up even after the challenge as I find celery juicing easy and so refreshing. 💚
Even if you’ve somehow managed to never drink something green in your life, you’ve probably heard about celery juice. Because everyone suddenly seems to be drinking it. (Many of my fellow @Beautycounter clean beauties, @goop followers and so many celebrities and health & fitness experts) And they’re not just drinking it; they’re swearing by it. But it’s nothing new for @medicalmedium Anthony William, who started juicing (and talking about) straight celery years ago. So when I looked at the Benefits of Celery Juice for Health and Wellness I thought why not try. I am also trying to get my daughter with #autism to drink it. She is doing great with it! 🙌🏻💚 Stated Benefits include: Prevents Cancer, Lowers Cholesterol, Controls Blood Pressure, Prevents Digestive Disorders, Prevents Calcification: Maintains Acid-Base Balance, Anti- Inflammatory Action, Diuretic, aids in weight loss, treats insomnia, prevents skin damage and the list goes on. Anthony William believes it is one of the greatest healing tonics of all time. He says if you want to heal and improve your health quickly and efficiently, follow this routine: * Every morning, drink roughly 16 ounces of celery juice on an empty stomach. I’m 10 days in with 16 ounces everyday!

Working out is a challenge. It's difficult, uncomfortable, and exhausting, but we all know it makes you stronger, healthier, and better overall. Life is the same way. Difficult times can help us get better if we see it as an opportunity for growth.
2nd workout of Week 3 complete. These full body workouts are killing me slowly. 🤣 butttt im loving the burn. 🔥💪🍑 #lsfbabes#goalgetter @laurensimpson @laurensimpsonfitness
Body confidence doesn’t come from achieving the perfect body, it comes from embracing the one you already have.
These thighs haven’t always been appreciated. But I’ve learned that loving your body starts here and now, and it’s great if results come along with it, but you will be amazed at what comes before them. Exercise is more than getting rid of fat and building muscle. It will affect you mentally and emotionally too, not just physically. You can be the fittest and strongest you’ve ever been, but still hate your body. Don’t be guilted into the idea that you have to look a specific way to feel good about yourself because “summers just around the corner”... I mean it’s 57 days away so yes it is, but you don’t need to look good to feel good. Exercise and coaching has brought me happiness, and confidence. It has brought me out of depression and self pity parties and it continues to do so every single day. Exercise because you want to be healthy, happy & you LOVE your body enough to implement workouts, better nutrition & personal development to make a healthy lifestyle last forever!
DM me if you want a lasting abundance of happiness and want to love your body right now and on its journey to being the healthiest version of yourself.

Little adjustments in your usual exercises can sometimes make a world of difference. I've switched to doing all my skullcrushers now on a slightly inclined bench. I now feel a better stretch at the bottom of the motion and squeeze at the top throughout the extensions. Do your best to flex the tricep at the top of every rep and keep the barbell slightly behind your line of sight. This has helped me keep tension on the tricep even at the top of the motion when fully extended at the elbow.

You don’t need to have ‘x’ amount of dollars in your bank account. You don’t need to inspire people with wisdom or grace. Heck, you don’t even have to smile.
Just show up, exactly as you are. You are inherently remarkable, regardless of what you have achieved or what you possess. Always remember that. ✨

#ashtangagroove moves right along with #padmasana or #lotuspose . In this posture you are aiming to bring the feet on top of the opposite thigh. In this posture you can practice meditation and mindfulness focusing on the breath.
