  • Happy Wednesday my friends! ๐ŸŒป Iโ€™m starting off this morning with my usual baked toast, but with a twist! @eatonhemp reached out to me a couple of weeks ago to try out their products, and I instantly fell in love. Their products are all organic, no sugar added, and no non-sense additives inside. Their goal is to keep that nutty hemp seed flavor forward but also adding a little kick as well. All of the ingredients you can actually read, and no canola oil here! Theyโ€™re gluten free and vegan of course, and nut free as well ๐Ÿ˜‹ I mean...what else can i say!? Today I put their Ancho Chilli BBQ and Maple Cinnamon to the test and I gotta say Iโ€™m very impressed! #EatonHemp #SuperSnackers

Deets: 2 slices @traderjoeslist sourdough bread + 1๏ธโƒฃ Garlic hummus and avocado + 2๏ธโƒฃ peanut butter and banana + place on parchment lined baking sheet + bake for 10 minutes at 400 F then broil for 4 minutes + remove from oven + 1๏ธโƒฃ top with @eatonhemp ancho chill BBQ hemp seeds, red pepper flakes, and everything but the bagel seasoning + 2๏ธโƒฃ @eatonhemp maple cinnamon hemp seeds and cinnamon โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €โ €

Iโ€™m all for recreating childhood favorites with new upgraded ingredients.
Hereโ€™s whatโ€™s I used in my upgraded PB&J:
โ–ถ๏ธย 2 pieces of sprouted of bread like Ezekiel bread
โ–ถ๏ธ all natural peanut butter
โ–ถ๏ธ 1/2 - 1 cup mashed raspberries
vs.
Standard Pb&J:
โ–ถ๏ธ 2 pieces white bread
โ–ถ๏ธ conventional peanut butter
โ–ถ๏ธ conventional jam

โ–ถ๏ธ Lesson of the day: not all brands are created equal - make sure to check nutrition facts & ingredients. There are definitely healthy versions of peanut butter or even raspberry preserves if you prefer that over mashed raspberries but steer clear of jams with high fructose corn syrup added and peanut butter with vegetable oils and added sugar.

Where as Ezekiel bread has the following Ingredients: Organic Sprouted Wheat, Filtered Water, Organic Sprouted Barley, Organic Sprouted Millet, Organic Malted Barley, Organic Sprouted Lentils, Organic Sprouted Soybeans, Organic Sprouted Spelt, Fresh Yeast, Organic Wheat Gluten. Simple and minimally processed - now that's a win!ย

  • Tadka soya chunks....for vegetarian and vegan ๐Ÿฅ—

Ingredients๐Ÿฅ—  M&S soya chunks 
100g=18.8g protein, 0.7g fat,1.1g carbs, and contains 96 calorie 
20g tomatoes/ 4 calories ๐Ÿ…
20g onions/8 calories
Mustard oil 1 spoon =14g fat 
Broccoli =75g (optional)

Method

1. Heat 1 tablespoons of the oil in a wok or a medium non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. When the oil is really hot, add onions, tomatoes and stir-fry for 2โ€“3 minutes. Season with pinch of Himalayan  salt, haldi ,Graham masala 
2. Add the broccoli fresh coriander(optional) to the masala  and mix through. 
3. Add the soya chunks  and heat over a medium heat being careful not to burn the soya. Serve the stir-fry immediately.  You can serve with roti rice or salad ๐Ÿฅ—enjoy

    1. Heat 1 tablespoons of the oil in a wok or a medium non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. When the oil is really hot, add onions, tomatoes and stir-fry for 2โ€“3 minutes. Season with pinch of Himalayan salt, haldi ,Graham masala
    2. Add the broccoli fresh coriander(optional) to the masala and mix through.
    3. Add the soya chunks and heat over a medium heat being careful not to burn the soya. Serve the stir-fry immediately. You can serve with roti rice or salad ๐Ÿฅ—enjoy

Healthy protein donuts ๐Ÿ˜๐Ÿ˜ and there super easy to make!! .

I use Kodiak pancake mix. Mix half and half mix and water or milk. I put the mixture in a baby cakes cooker. That is how I got the donut shape but you can use whatever you have to make the shape. The first batch I added dark choc chips and the second batch I added chopped strawberries. For the icing I used protein powder mixed with about a tbsp of water or milk than drizzle on top of donuts. I also added sliced coconut on the strawberry filled ones. This is so easy guys and it's great to beat those sugar cravings! Hope you enjoy and let me know what you guys think ๐Ÿ˜˜

But after realising this,, I just eat a snack,, and the headache goes away ๐Ÿค— whereas in the past I mightโ€™ve taken a Panadol to get rid of it ๐Ÿคฆ๐Ÿปโ€โ™€๏ธ

The answer is no. You do not NEED supplements to make gains and build muscle/loose fat. Can it help? Yes. Some supplements can help with recovery, getting more protein in, giving you a small boost of energy but all these โ€œFAT BURNERSโ€ and weight loss vitamins, etc, etc are FALSE! โŒ -

Unfortunately there is no magic pill, no magical powder that will make you ripped or loose 100lbs. It all hard work and dedication and those are just the facts!

I take 2 kinds of supplements. 
1. BCAAโ€™s - this helps with the recovery of my muscles giving me pure amino acids to repair and also some extra vitamins and minerals. I drink this after my workout. Currently taking @prosupps

2. Protein Powder - as I do not eat much meat, I find it very difficult sometimes to get in advocate protein so having a scoop of protein powder a day helps make sure I get enough. As shown in my story, I make a smoothie most mornings using my @blessedprotein chocolate protein powder.
