Happy Wednesday my friends! 🌻 I’m starting off this morning with my usual baked toast, but with a twist! @eatonhemp reached out to me a couple of weeks ago to try out their products, and I instantly fell in love. Their products are all organic, no sugar added, and no non-sense additives inside. Their goal is to keep that nutty hemp seed flavor forward but also adding a little kick as well. All of the ingredients you can actually read, and no canola oil here! They’re gluten free and vegan of course, and nut free as well 😋 I mean...what else can i say!? Deets: 2 slices @traderjoeslist sourdough bread + 1️⃣ Garlic hummus and avocado + 2️⃣ peanut butter and banana + place on parchment lined baking sheet + bake for 10 minutes at 400 F then broil for 4 minutes + remove from oven + 1️⃣ top with @eatonhemp ancho chill BBQ hemp seeds, red pepper flakes, and everything but the bagel seasoning + 2️⃣ @eatonhemp maple cinnamon hemp seeds and cinnamon ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Diet or Cardio? What Do You Prefer?🥗🏃🏽♂️
☝🏽First off, no matter which you decide to stick to, you must be in a calorie deficit to lose weight. That means either you'll have to eat fewer calories than you burn, or burn more calories than you eat.
❗Example: So let’s say you burn 3,500 calories. If you take the dieting route, you can restrict what you eat by counting calories and eating 3,000 calories per day❗
✔️If you want to take the cardio route, you will have to burn 500 extra calories by doing the amount of cardio required to burn 500 calories. It may take one person less than 1 hour and it may another person 1-2 hours to burn that amount
✔️Either way, you're dropping the same number of calories. However, clearly, the dieting route is much simpler to follow, and less effort and time is required to restrict food
✔️Controlling what you eat is a much easier and more effective route to start off with. I rarely recommend starting with cardio when trying to lose fat. I would only suggest implementing cardio once you hit a weight loss plateau, to intensify the already existing calorie deficit, or to supplement a diet plan already in place

How to create a healthier PB&J! 🍓🥜🍞

I’m all for recreating childhood favorites with new upgraded ingredients.
Here’s what’s I used in my upgraded PB&J:
▶️ 2 pieces of sprouted of bread like Ezekiel bread
▶️ all natural peanut butter
▶️ 1/2 - 1 cup mashed raspberries
▶️ 2 pieces white bread
▶️ conventional peanut butter
▶️ conventional jam
▶️ Lesson of the day: not all brands are created equal - make sure to check nutrition facts & ingredients. There are definitely healthy versions of peanut butter or even raspberry preserves if you prefer that over mashed raspberries but steer clear of jams with high fructose corn syrup added and peanut butter with vegetable oils and added sugar.
▶️ Wonder bread vs. Ezekiel bread - Wonder bread has such a crazy long list of ingredients I couldn't even fit it in this caption reasonably. Where as Ezekiel bread has the following Ingredients: Organic Sprouted Wheat, Filtered Water, Organic Sprouted Barley, Organic Sprouted Millet, Organic Malted Barley, Organic Sprouted Lentils, Organic Sprouted Soybeans, Organic Sprouted Spelt, Fresh Yeast, Organic Wheat Gluten. Simple and minimally processed - now that's a win!
The healthy choice is obvious and reminder to read the label on your bread brands too! @meowmeix
1. Heat 1 tablespoons of the oil in a wok or a medium non-stick frying pan over a medium heat. When the oil is really hot, add onions, tomatoes and stir-fry for 2–3 minutes. Season with pinch of Himalayan salt, haldi ,Graham masala
2. Add the broccoli fresh coriander(optional) to the masala and mix through.
3. Add the soya chunks and heat over a medium heat being careful not to burn the soya. Serve the stir-fry immediately. You can serve with roti rice or salad 🥗enjoy

Healthy protein donuts 😍😍 and there super easy to make!! .
I use Kodiak pancake mix. Mix half and half mix and water or milk. I put the mixture in a baby cakes cooker. That is how I got the donut shape but you can use whatever you have to make the shape. The first batch I added dark choc chips and the second batch I added chopped strawberries. For the icing I used protein powder mixed with about a tbsp of water or milk than drizzle on top of donuts. I also added sliced coconut on the strawberry filled ones. This is so easy guys and it's great to beat those sugar cravings! Hope you enjoy and let me know what you guys think 😘

We don’t give enough credit to our body ! Our body is insanely intuitive & tells us when something is wrong ! We as humans usually push it aside & brush it off 😬but we should listen to our bodies & do things/ eat based on this cues ! 🙏🏼
Isn’t it crazy that our body gives us ques🤯 If we’re sick, our body feels odd- that’s a cue! 💯If we’re hungry, our tummy grumbles- that’s a cue! 💯
Some thing that I’ve learnt over the last couple of months is my tummy doesn’t grumble when I’m hungry,, but I get a mild headache. But after realising this,, I just eat a snack,, and the headache goes away 🤗 whereas in the past I might’ve taken a Panadol to get rid of it 🤦🏻♀️
Trusting & listen to your body might be tricky 😰BUT i encourage you to stay in tune with your body🙏🏼🤞🏼!!! •
💡💡💡The easiest way to do this is keep a food diary ! When you eat something and feel off or feel AMAZING ➡️write it down ! 📝 e.g. if I ate something for dinner & I felt a bit off,, I’ll write this in a rolling document- just so I can look back & remember this for the future !

DO YOU NEED SUPPLEMENTS TO GET RESULTS?😧💪🏼
The answer is no. You do not NEED supplements to make gains and build muscle/loose fat. Can it help? Yes. Some supplements can help with recovery, getting more protein in, giving you a small boost of energy but all these “FAT BURNERS” and weight loss vitamins, etc, etc are FALSE! ❌ -
Unfortunately there is no magic pill, no magical powder that will make you ripped or loose 100lbs. It all hard work and dedication and those are just the facts!
I take 2 kinds of supplements.
1. BCAA’s - this helps with the recovery of my muscles giving me pure amino acids to repair and also some extra vitamins and minerals. I drink this after my workout. Currently taking @prosupps
2. Protein Powder - as I do not eat much meat, I find it very difficult sometimes to get in advocate protein so having a scoop of protein powder a day helps make sure I get enough. As shown in my story, I make a smoothie most mornings using my @blessedprotein chocolate protein powder.
I’ve never tried pre workout but lots of people use it for a little boost so if it helps you then go for it!
