IF I WERE YOU just released their single “Fraud” off of their highly anticipated fourth full length studio record, “Inner Signals,” to be released at the end of 2018. The band is all about self reflection and perspective. “The idea of being able to take a step back and gain perspective of your inner most thoughts and emotions is what drives the creative process for us,” says drummer/vocalist/producer Randy Pasquarella. Sometimes it’s somber, and sometimes it’s uplifting, but no matter the emotion infused into any particular song by IF I WERE YOU, the song hits you hard both sonically and physcologically. “Inner Signals” is a heart-rending blend of battering guitars and drums, hypnotic bass and synths and emotive vocals that will resonate with fans of I See Stars, Architects, Blessthefall, Polaris and Veil of Maya - which the band cites as heavy inspiration for their sound. IF I WERE YOU is vocalist Kyle Strang, drummer/vocalist Randy Pasquarella, guitarist Dan Conklin and bassist James Russell. The band was formed in 2011 and is based out of Poughkeepsie, NY. Look for “Inner Signals” on all platforms at the end of 2018!
During that year, they started working with Rome-based booking agency Asap Arts and toured Italy, Switzerland, France and Germany, supporting important artists such as Thee Oh Sees, Black Lips, The Night Beats and King Khan & the Shrines.
Bee Bee Sea makes a kind of revved-up garage-punk leaked from the mutant brains of Thee Oh Sees and Black Lips — bands with which the Northern Italian trio has toured — with a little bit of The Cramps' #psycho#surf and Can's #hypnofunk For the next five minutes, don't take your hands off the wheel — you might fall into a pit of stabbing guitars or heavy tides of rolling bass" - NPR Music + #FatEarthers
