A view on my winter walk today on our farm, @whitecottagefarm. On my walk today I did a little digging in the greenhouse which is pretty much storage right now for outdoor items. I want to start seeds in here soon because this year I will be getting our garden back up and running after taking a break last year. I’m thinking our original garden will be our floral garden & I will be making a new garden around this little greenhouse of mine for vegetables. I’ll share that whole process and more of the garden this spring and summer, but I wanted to share that little goal with you for our farm. I can’t wait to garden with Cope this year!! 👩🏻🌾👶🏻🥕🍅🥬 Are you going to have a garden this year? Any big gardening plans? Any garden questions for me? Let’s chat until all this snow melts and we can start digging in the dirt! #whitecottagefarm Ps. See more of my farm friends and my walk in my stories today!
Took the boys out to cut down some trees yesterday and they had a blast! We moved here in November and were not at all prepared for wood heat for the winter so it’s been a mix of buying and grabbing downed and dead trees from our woods. Next year will be much more organized when it comes to our wood supply!
No one else is responsible for your life but you. If you want to be successful, go out and get after it. If you want to be happy, make changes to support the life you want to live.
MLK weekend was battling wind, ice, snow, and lots of snow, but mostly overcame with winter calmness. Drove to a county park for hiking only to find out upon arrival it’s closed for the season because I guess who goes hiking in Jan!! 🙋🏻♀️ #puremichigan#newbuffalo#michigan#lakemichigan

So balance is the key for 2020. Can’t wait for what’s to come this year! 💫
