I'm doing more ot those quick studies lately. When you don't have a lot of time, the sketching process is more instinctive, more fluid. You have to choose the lines you are going to use, so we learn how to quickly capture the important ones.
It's a pretty cool exercise! It really teaches us to be more free and less worried about our sketches. Sometimes they will turn out kind of crappy, but we are learning, so no problem at all!
Hope you guys feel motivated to give it a try. 🥰🌸

Me contem depois 🥰

It was interesting working through this painting as it didn’t turn out how I expected. Originally I wanted to share with you guys my big dreams of working as an artist at Disney or Dreamworks and how I eventually want direct my own movies or tv show. It started off as a drawing of me, blissfully daydreaming of accomplishing that goal. I was surprised to find the painting took a different turn, one that is more painfully accurate 😅. The reality is that chasing your dreams is hard, it’s not just given to you. It takes hard work, diligence, passion, and sacrifice. And even then you can feel stuck like your goin nowhere.....Have you felt this way? What’s your guy’s ultimate goals?
