Not much left to do to finish these two keyrings. The only thing it requires hammering. Hopefully the kids sleep tight!
Yesterday I wasn’t able to do anything, as the day was very long after a 3 hour night and required all my attention. But now I can keep going with your orders!

I was also just wonderin. Would you like me to add the little wallets to the shop with the australian designs?

  • One of the absolute best things about running your own business is definitely the flexibility you can have.

A couple of weeks ago mid week I organised a quick day trip to Rottnest with my mumma & two of my (5) siblings.

I’d had a stressful week and having the ability to choose to switch off for a day, ride around the island, swim in the pristine ocean & spend time with the fam was invaluable.

If you don’t have the flexibility to do this I deff recommend a quarterly mental health day (sickie)to recharge your batteries & fill your heart.

In no way am I trying to diminish mental health issues or encourage absenteeism but these spontaneous much needed days off really keep my mental wellbeing in check.

Bonus pic of me going to extreme lengths to pose with a quokka. Arguably one of the cutest f*cking animals in the whole world 😍😍

  • I couldn't help but post one more illustration of the animals affected by the bushfires in Australia. In reading some of the articles online, including one from the Guardian and one from National Geographic (both links can be found on my blog site), I discovered more animals I never knew about, like the quokka, the dunnart, the greater glider, the wombat, and the regent honeyeater.

The quokka is a marsupial and was quite popular a few years ago when
many celebrities and tourists started taking selfies with this adorable creature. They can be found in Western Australia, particularly in Rottnest Island.

The dunnart is also a marsupial, they are so tiny, but their eyes are huge! They can be found in Southern Australia.

The greater glider is a gliding marsupial, also known as a flying possum. They live in the eucalyptus forests in Eastern Australia.

The wombats, also marsupials, live in extensive underground burrows
that they dig themselves. They live in South East Australia.

The regent honeyeater, the only non-marsupial I added in this illustration, is a bird forager. Their kind depends on the nectar from eucalyptus trees. They, too, can be found in South East Australia.

Many of these animals were endangered before the bushfires began back in September 2019. Will they survive after the bushfires of 2019-2020?
Who knows?

I hope to send more donations to Wildlife Victoria or Red Cross Australia. Maybe sell these illustrations as prints to raise money?🤔🤔 Couldn’t help but do a couple of versions too- brush pens, digital and pencil.

  • N'est-il pas trop mignon ? 🐻

Rottnest island today,
it was very cloudy in the morning but around the afternoon comes the sun out and it was so beautiful and the colors of the ocean were indescribable.

  • People are crazy about otters and even keeping otters as a pet nowadays.

I know "otter cafe" is a thing in Japan, it allows you feeding otters, petting otters and taking selfie with otters in a short period of time.

Yas, they are fucking adorable. But, do we know well about otters apart from their cuteness? Nahhh, not really... I've just watched a documentary about pet otters on youtube and I think you all should go watch it. Let me know your thoughts ;) Link is here below👇🏻

And it's available on my bio😉
