As if 15 Ramaruri runners is not enough! We are delighted to announce the latest addition to the Ultra X Mexico lineup, the legendary @vibram and @altrarunning athlete, father and husband that is @gediminasgrinius!
Having started ultra-running as treatment to help Gediminas cope with PDSD after serving in Iraq, he discovered a passion and serious talent for running further and longer. He's got an unbelievable race CV including finishing top of the Ultra Trail World Tour in 2016 and 2017 (2nd in 2018) and has also finished second in the famous mountain race UTMB!
How will he cope with the 11,000+ metres of climbing in Ultra X Mexico? Come and find out this November.... Places still available.
A lap with the legends
Turn off the traffic lights, first in with Ayrton Senna towards the Sainte dévote which follows the uphill stretch of the Beau Rivage. After the turn left Massenet, Jarno Trulli faces the Casino curve and then right at the curve Mirabeau Haute and the next narrow hairpin Grand Hotel hairpin where he grumbles the blue v10 facing the two curves right ,Mirabeau Bas and Portier, which lead Michael Schumacher to take the very fast curved covered Tunnel, to whose exit follows a short straight in slight slope that ends with the Chicane Nouvelle. The section of track that follows develops around the dock of the Principality, reaching then the fold left Tabac that you throw on two consecutive chicanes, Louis Chiron and the Piscine, where takes in hand the steering wheel Niki Lauda, hero of these days to remember a champion that we’ll miss.
