Another beautiful morning to stretch these legs. These mornings give me time to ponder why I run. I do it because it gives me strength and mental focus. I do it because I want to be better, to honor my body, to push my personal boundaries. It's not for everyone, but it's for me. 🔋 Maybe you keep your phone plugged in so it’s always at full reserves for when you need it.
Or you’re like me and you keep an extra charger on hand so you never run out.
⁉️But what about you???
Do you keep your own reserves fully charged?
Are you recharging yourself as often as you recharge your phone?
Or do you let yourself get drained?
🤯Drained can look like overwhelm, stress, exhaustion, frustration...
It can look like overeating, undereating, lack of willpower...
And so much more.
👉🏻You are more important than your phone.
Make time to recharge you.
📝Have a list of ways you can recharge. Know at least 3 things you can do in 5 minutes or less.
✅And if you don’t know where to begin, start here: Every time you plug your phone in, take 5 deep breaths and have some water.

Tonight at 7:15pm at River Yoga I'm teaching slow flow.
After working all day I'm ready to slow things down a bit.

I wanted to take a moment and thank you again for being such a wonderful company and showering me with amazing feedback, sharing your stories and work and dreaming together. I also want to wish everyone to find time for yourselves. In the past couple of years I have realised how important it is to meditate (in different ways) and just have some time for yourself where you feel this day and moment and your own body 100% Although I have been extremely busy with commissions, travels, work, ideas and a million other things, every day (at different times) I find time to meditate for about 10 minutes. If you follow me, you probably know that my preferred way of letting go of tiredness, overthinking and stress and regaining balance is dancing. I meditate through movement and I can't tell you how helpful and liberating this has been for me. About a month away will have an amazing retreat for you to get that much needed R+R. -
Plenty to do or nothing at all, there’s something for everyone at our Sylvan Lake retreat. Come and unplug and have time connecting with friends, have an amazing three-course meal by a local chef. Nature walks to to the lake. Have fun creating some DIY’s that you can pamper yourself at home when you leave. Or just sleep and read a good book. -

Don’t let your tank run out! When I get to 1/4 tank my warning lights 🚨start flashing.
I’m sure you see the warning ⚠️ signs too, but sometimes it can be hard to recognize, pause or take a step back to reassess in the moment.
Mama, you can’t pour from an empty cup or give your best self to your family if you’re running on empty. Just remember you need to #putyourownmaskonfirst
Make sure you’re paying attention to those warning signs and 🛑 when you need to. .
Make sure you’re making time for yourself every day. Go wash your face, apply a face mask, and then pack the lunches. Meditate for 5 min before bed or delegate a task and put your feet up. It likely won’t be done “your way” but it will get done and it’s just one day. Trust me...it’s worth it. .

Yesterday was earth day, and, whilst it’s great to have these national/worldwide events to draw attention to important causes, we do need to be paying more attention to our planet, and how we treat it, every single day.
I was lucky enough to spend part of the bank holiday weekend camping in Wales with one of my favourite humans 👫 Having the time to sit and be present with all that nature has to offer literally brought me back to life🔋 We spend far too long sat in front of Netflix these days, that we’ve lost our connection to the outdoors, and all the benefits that come with it.
