As Passover begins, Jesus institutes the first communion.
“While they were eating, Jesus took bread, and when he had given thanks, he broke it and gave it to his disciples, saying, “Take and eat; this is my body.”
Then he took a cup, and when he had given thanks, he gave it to them, saying, “Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins. I tell you, I will not drink from this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in my Father’s kingdom.”

Recuérdame (remember me).
I cry every time when I see this moment.😭
Love your family and yourself👨👩👧👧
I guess that we can assimilate some stuff from "Día de Muertos"
I was going to wait to show this, but turned out so gorgeous that I can’t help myself.
Last Saturday, my cousin Melissa (@liltamz) passed away after battling cancer for almost 7 years. Unfortunately I cannot make it to the memorial service because bereavement doesn’t apply to cousins and it’s on Easter weekend, which is impossible to get off in general when you work retail let alone with a week’s notice. So I was going to see about getting flowers delivered to the service and asked Aunt Tammy what Melissa’s favorite flowers were. She told me Melissa liked sunflowers and peonies, but adding that I didn’t have to send anything. Melissa might have preferred that I didn’t because she was frugal and didn’t like spending extra money on things like cut flowers. In fact, the last couple weeks she was alive people wanted to send flowers and she asked her family to tell people not to.
So I had decided not to send anything....until I had remembered I had bought a few sunflower bunches on sale at Michaels last fall. I bought them because I had a strange sudden urge to make a sunflower themed wreath, which I never got around to making. When I bought the flowers, it was around the time Melissa’s doctors had found new tumors—weird that I unknowingly bought my cousin’s favorite flowers around the time her cancer took a turn for the worst. Maybe it was destiny or coincidence, but either way I had to make a wreath out of them. I bought some peonies and greenery (they were on sale for 60% off...I think I spent like ten bucks) and whipped up this wreath today. It probably won’t make it in time for the memorial, but someone’s getting a pretty wreath regardless. #wreath#sunflower#peonies#peony#flowers#floral#rememberme
