Look at the muscles on this girl and that sweet face!!! 😍 Sophia is such a sweet baby! She dreams of one day finding her forever family! She is okay with other dogs when properly introduced, but would do best as maybe an only dog, or with one dog. No cats!! She absolutely loves kids. She just wants to be loved on and adored! She promises she’ll give you all the lovins for the rest of her days! Do you have room for a Lil stubby Staffy in your heart? #rescuedogsofinstagram#rangersreach

I’ve been feeling down and anxious ever since my dad left last night- Something about a bizness trip. Mom keeps talking to me but we all know Dad is my Hooman. I keep rushing to the garage door but I’m just hearing things. 😟 #saddog#abandonmentissues#waytoosadfor1day
Sooo, although beautiful Bella was adopted, I had to post this picture. It was as if she knew she was going to be adopted and stuck her tongue out at me saying, “ha ha! I’m gonna get adopted before you can post this picture”. ❤️❤️ Babylon Animal Shelter

Hello Friends! This little cutie is Charlie Black. Sadly, he was abandoned by his owner last year. We were delighted when Charlie was recently adopted and moved to Austin. Unfortunately, his adopter has now decided she can not keep him and has requested to return him.
Our dilemma is that we need to get him back to Houston from Austin. Is there a chance any of our ATDR family or friends might be able to help us by transporting him from Austin to Houston, or even to a halfway meeting point?
If you can help, PLEASE EMAIL us at ATDR.org. Charlie Black would be so grateful for your help in getting him back to a foster here in Houston, where he will be welcomed and loved. ❤️🐾❤️ #atdr#alltexasdachshundrescue#choosetheadoptionoption#adoptdontshop#opttoadopt#dachshundsofinstagram#doxieofinstagram#rescuedogsofinstagram#transport#dachshundtransport
Meet 1 year old Ginger. She was surrendered by owner and although we may not all agree with their decisions, please keep positive messages and help Ginger find a new home.
Ginger is completely and totally terrified to be at the shelter. At first she stayed in back of the cage and just growled at anyone who came near her. Volunteers quickly started making friends with her by offering her some treats.
At the beginning she didn't accept any treats from us but we were patient with her and just let her know we would be on her time. Volunteer Wendy finally made progress and she started walking her and soon she was smiling and acting happy. When you put her back in her cage, it's like she is waiting for her owners to return but no luck. This girl no longer has a home.
Now with Ginger being so shy, it may be hard for people to even notice her. She is terrified of new people but with a patient home she can be amazing. This lab mix girl is ready for a new family and a new home.

Hi this is Milo! He was adopted from the @humanesociety in Portland, OR. We were told he is a Shepard mix, but no one really knows! He’s from California (Mt.Shasta area) & was sent here in the second chance program! So far he really love naps, pooping & chewing on bones 🦴 oh & his parents! They f*ckin rock 🤘🏼
Hey Mutt Militia we need your help! A dog was hit by a car in our community and some amazing people took her to the hospital to get care because she just left on the side of the road to die. They have set up a go fund me to help with her medical expenses. Reshares will really help them out so much!! Please help if you can! Thank you so much 🙏🏼❤️ you can find the go fund me link in our story!! #adoptdontshop#rescuedogsofinstagram#savethemall#dogs
I am currently not Max's favorite person. He has to wear the cone of shame at night so we can sleep and not worry that he's chewing. Max is actually doing well physically. We got some gel meds from the pharmacy and it's amazing, really works on terribly nasty wounds. He's still semi restricted and stuck with me all the time. Me and the boat air horn. It's my new accessory. #coneofshame#rescuedogsofinstagram#rescuedogsofroatan
