This one, who cannot probably express too much of what she really feels, is someone who teaches me everyday how one should take on changes that happen in life. Ever since she has learnt about the move she's been excited about it. She says we'll have new friends and a new city to explore. I get attached to people and places on the other hand, and the idea of rebuilding, for me, is scary.🥀
When we finally did move and the big surprise of 'what will our new home look like was over', Minha said, "I wish we had the same house, because I like it, but it was in Schaffhausen." Maybe, it finally sunk in, that her old friends and the streets she was so used to, will not be a part of her life anymore. 💔 The kids room as of now is a dumpyard. No place to walk or move. Of course, none of Minha's toys and belongings are accessible. Yet, she's putting on a brave face, dealing with it all like a champ. Cooperating, smiling and coming to us for occasional hugs. Alhamdulillah, she's awesome.🌷
Anyway, yesterday, we decided to not accomplish too much and take the girls to a park. They deserve to unwind, and get a chance to accept that this too won't be too bad. 2 years in Switzerland have actually made the outdoors a huge part of our lives.🌳 That's what rain bothers us. Because we can't be free and wild on the grass, walk or play on the swings. Being close to nature gives me and the girls a whole lot of peace. At Kralingense Plas yesterday, the girls ran and laughed, as the sun played hide and seek with the clubs. According to Dutch standards, I think it was a good 'summer' day. The lake in the backdrop, the white seagulls flying about, the scene helped me keep my heart afloat.🕊️ Eager to see know what my heart feels like 6 months down the road.☔
On my profile, I am sharing a blog link - "The New Girl in Town". It talks about my graduation from being the new girl in Schaffhausen to an older one. What I felt and how my transition was like from just having arrived in Switzerland to me feeling I belong here. Have a read. 📖🇨🇭

Hoe groen is onze matcha? Zo groen! Geheel onbewerkte foto van de premium ceremonial matcha die wij gebruiken voor onze drankjes van @mrmrstea. Bijvoorbeeld puur de thee, latte of een shot. We gebruiken het zelfs soms om mee te bakken. 💚

Rotterdam is internationally known for it's port. It has the largest port in Europe and the second largest in the world. A lot of goods from all over the world enter the European continent this way.
The cranes used by the terminal operators contain a gearbox. As we specialize in gearbox repair, we see a lot of gearboxes from terminal operators for repair or maintenance. With our headquarters being only a small drive away from the port, we can quickly have an engineer on-site if necessary.
One of the terminal operators contacted us to perform an inspection on 2 gearboxes from the German brand PIV. After the gearboxes were delivered to our workshop by the client, our engineer started with the inspection.
After the inspection the report was written by the engineer and talked through with the client. We proposed to the client to overhaul both gearboxes. The client accepted our offer and the work on the gearbox was scheduled for the next weeks.
Afterwards, our in-house quality control department did a 4 hour test-run, to assure the overhaul was performed to our high standards. The gearboxes passed the test-run, and were shipped back to the client to be used in one of their cranes.
