Looks like Josh didn’t make it into the shot in time. Okay then, I’ll do this one on my own.
Do you enjoy having your photo taken? A photo of just you? Whether it’s a portrait photo or a shot like this?
I didn’t. I’d always have preferred a group photo or just no photo at all. Don’t get me wrong, I’d take the odd selfie here and there. But it’s only recently that I’ve been okay with full length shots.
Where does confidence come from? How do we feel fully confident? I’m not too sure as I’m not there just yet.
However, I know that it starts with loving yourself. You have got to love yourself and believe in yourself for your confidence to grow and shine.
Tell me one thing you love about yourself...
I love my smile!♥️
😁 Everyone has probably seen at least once this smiley animal in pictures, the Quokka.
We were lucky enough to find one in our last trip. Finding one of those in nature is not easy, once their actual population is quite reduced (estimated on 17000) and they are mainly nocturnal.
How can something be so god dam cute?
Although, actually. Let me take you back to the beginning of this photo.
It started with both Josh and I laying on the floor for a good 10 minutes. We kept getting up, going over to them, laying down and off they went, leaving us looking like right losers.
THEN! We met this little cutie, just sitting on it’s own. Jess found one of the fruity things that they munch on, so held it up and the Quokka just hoped into our photo.
Of course it didn’t end there, when does it ever with us?
Why was this Quokka on its own? Oh probably because somebody decided to feed the wasps. Oh how friendly of them you might think. Oh no, not friendly. Stupid. We were right next to a bus stop! A bus stop where we had to stand along with everybody else, waiting for the bus.
So the start of this photo was us laying on the ground with no Quokkas, looking like losers and the end of this photo was us throwing out all the Dad dance moves to get the wasps off us🕺🏼💃🏼
Nine and a half months travelling and still not one single photo has been simple🙄
If anyone ever tells you ‘just lie down on the floor with your phone and they hop in and smile for the camera’
Then unfriend them, they’re lying to you!
My long lost family members came to visit some weeks ago, here's some #Rottnest highlights! I made a cool video with my GoPro footage but Insta is a poop and won't let me upload it 😭
Pls enjoy the photos of me being me instead and reliving Year 7 Rottnest camp memz 😚 (Pt. 1)
Whilst on Rottnest Island, beneath the Bathurst Lighthouse, I collected some rockpool seawater after the rain. A combination of water from the sea, the heavens and the earth. I used it paint a very special commission for a family who have a deep connection with creatures of the ocean. 💙🌊🖌
