2 oz high proof white #rum
.75 oz Cocktail Artist Premium Blue Curacao Syrup
.75 oz Cocktail Artist Premium Lime Juice
.25 oz banana liqueur #Absinthe rinse
This classic will never grow old.
“Grander Old Fashioned”
2 oz of Grander Rum
1/4 oz of Demerara Simple Syrup
2 Dashes of Angostura bitters
Stir ingredients over ice and strain over large ice cube in a cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange slice.

Aperol can be used for more than just a spritz, check out the Unusual Negroni.
The Unusual Negroni is a more approachable, mellow version of a classic Campari-based Negroni. The creator, Charlotte Voisey, swapped out the Campari for Aperol and Lillet Blanc in place of the sweet vermouth. Aperol displays bitter orange and grapefruit notes that compliment the Lillet Blanc's honeyed-citrus flavours.

Splendid sunshine all day long here in Hamburg today (check my story) so I thought it was time to share an equally sunny cocktail with you...
The (Fake) Jungle Bird
- 22.5 ml Pineapple Infused Tanqueray Rangpur
- 22.5 Plantation Pineapple Rum
- 15 ml Italian Bitter
- 45 ml Pineapple Juice
- 10 ml Lime Juice
- 10 ml Simple Syrup
... shake all with ice and open pour into a low-ball glass. Garnish in style 👌
I purchased this delicious pineapple infused rum and asked - who else - Matthias aka. @servedbysoberon what I should mix it in. He came up with the Jungle Bird Cocktail, which is rather easy to make and doesn't require any super extravagant ingredients 🍹
As this page is about gin, however, I head to tweak the original recipe just a little. I split the base between aforementioned rum and a lime-forward gin which I had infused with pineapple for a day. Boy was the result rich in pineapple and just right for a fresh summer feeling 🏖️

The campfire tastes like a meal you would have by the campfire. It is one of the most unique whiskeys I have tasted and was pleasantly surprised.
Nose: corn, malt, pepper, cinnamon, anise, vanilla, caramel, maple syrup, butter scotch, and a medicinal peat smell (maybe from the anise note combining with the peat)

The kind folks over at @copperxcannon were super kind to send me a sample of their maple rum, and I immediately knew I wanted to create a wintery daiquiri variation. I ended up getting inspiration from the 3-Ingredient Cocktails book by @robertosimonson and instead ended up doing a Manhattan variation, based on ‘Star’. ‘Mazzy Star’
1 oz white rum
1/2 oz @copperxcannon Maple Rum
1/4 oz apple brandy ( @neversinkspirits )
1/4 oz Clement Rhum Blanc Agricole
1/4 oz cinnamon ss
1/4 oz nocino
Dash aromatic bitters
I might actually be in love with my camera! The photos are so much better! In the mean time here’s another object of my affection...grapefruit vodka+grapefruit juice is, well, divine. Add a drop or 2 of rosemary simple syrup and it’s perfection ❤️ .
