  • Running is always the last thing I think I want to do but I always feel so accomplished when I’m done!!
The runners high is a real thing🏃🏼‍♀️
This was my second time running outside since last years mini and it’s feeling pretty good!
Once I get past that first mile and get into a groove I’m rolling with it and honestly finding myself somewhat enjoying it. (Am I even the same person anymore???)
I straight up DID NOT want to do this run but I’m so so glad I did. I didn't only find that my mind felt so clear afterwards, but I was so proud of myself for pushing past what my mind was trying to tell me and doing what I’m disciplined enough to do.
Teach yourself the discipline and the motivation won’t matter.
To top it all off, I shaved about a min off my pace per mile🤗
Push yourself past your mind, your body will thank you💕

It’s great 👍🏼 not only getting back on track from that over indulgence long weekend but to start feeling amazing again.

We are all different and have different needs for our bodies.  We all have different food intolerances, preferences and know how we feel, so what works for you most likely isn’t going to be the best for me.

It’s important that we all find what works for us as individuals.

  • Today’s training session with PT @edmanjoel was a mixed training with the result that my whole body is aching now 😂
I started with a 1 km power walk on 7:45 and then we went down to the gym for mobility. 
We started with an exercise where I stand on one knee, holds a stick in front of me and turn my tires to one side and then to the other. While holding the stick forward I stand up just using my legs and then slowly back down on one knee. We did this 3x12 on each leg. 
After that I was to lean against the massage bench and twist my body in under the arm against bench and then up against roof. We did this 3x15 reps on each side. 
Then we went for standing seal rowing. First just 8 reps on the bar with a backhanded grip and then 8 reps with forward grip to see which felt best. Then we went for 40 kg and 12 reps quite fast and then 12 reps where the downward was very slow and controlled. Then we did 2x10 slow reps on 50 kg. Really painful 👍🏻💪🏻😂
Then it was time for lats pulls. We started with 40 kg and 12 pulls which was very easy. Then 2x12 on 50 kg, 1x10 on 45 kg and ending with 1x10 on 40 kg. After that my arms were completely spent 👍🏻💪🏻😂 📸 @edmanjoel
