  • What exactly is a social failure?
Let me give you an example of how we faill as a society. Just now, I heard that a dear friend, who is a promising newcomer in the world of cinema, who's movie just hit the big theaters was pulled down the screens. Because some A big producer is launching his movie, some B big filmy family's child is debuting and some other C kinda nepotism-politics succeeded over a budding young talent. Of course, one can battle out the standards of participation but the point here is how failed are we as a community that we take away the battlefield from people just because the role of power is more efficient than the role of merit. I mean we see this everyday, in all fields. Politics, reservation, jobs, family and so much more that the playground for executing a task is mearly an extension to to how many strings can you really pull. I mean, even I have enjoyed the incentives that came my way. Its of course fair and easy for the ones who enjoy the perks of this unknown game of power but one must really pause and question the other wise of it. How do we, as a society live and breathe if the only fair way to live and breathe is to kiss someone's something to get a job done. Excuse the expression!

Can we not, be more accommodating, fair and a righteous world where the only road to success is the road where you are judged because of your merit? How far will the habits of insecurity, power, laziness take one if the empire you build for yourself is at the cost of someone and their aspirations.

Isn't this as essential as expecting more skill worthy people entering the world and we, as a community become a better space that can challenge the nations that are acing this rat race? Tell me, how will we leave this world for the future generations to come if something as important as someone's merit is overlooked because they are below you.
So while you and I answer and say no to being a part of this theater space, here's me doing what I enjoy doing the most.
Happy Saturday, everyone 🌻
