When training during the season, it’s important to minimize muscle soreness and additional joint stress.
One way to do this is taking out the eccentric (negative) portion of repetitions on heavy compound exercises.
Here I have set up a squat rack with the bumpers lowered to the bottom of my squat (or about 2-3 above that).
🔹Keep the lumbar and hips safe at the bottom of the rep
🔹Waste no energy on eccentrics
🔹Total control throughout the rep

Zum Samstag das gewohnte Bild… ein bisschen Sport muss sein 😊. Damit mein Rücken stabil bleibt und das ISG wieder besser wird, heut unter anderem ein paar Hyperextensions mit 10kg. Ich musste das Gerät allerdings etwas anders einstellen… hatte Angst die kleine Maus zusammenzudrücken 🙈.
