8월 무더위에 공황이 까꿍해서 너무 많은 일들이 밀렸다. 곧 다가올 9월, 그리고 가을은 내가 좋아하는 계절이라서 좋아하는 작업을 많이 할 예정. .
긴장보다 설렘으로 채우자.
그 속에서 나타나는 불안은 그 나름대로 내게 즐거움으로 돌아올 것이다. .
솔직히 일을 시작한 올해 2월부터. 지인들을 만나는게 어렵다. 우리 동네로 지인분들이 직접 온다고해도 월~금, 매일 4시간 근무로도 버거워서 주말엔 누구 만날 새 없이 오로지 쉬어야만 했다. 어쩌다가 약속을 잡으면 내가 먼저 취소하기 일쑤였다. 지인분들께 너무 많은 실망감을 줘버렸다. 지금도 솔직히 주말에 지인분들을 만날 기운이 없다. 조금만 기다려주세요. 일도 적응하고, 공황도 물러나고, 제 컨디션 찾으면 그때 사과의 마음 전할게요. 지금은 그저 서운해하게 만들어서 죄송합니다. .
센터 아이가 말했다. "쌤은 집을 너무 좋아해요. 주말에 어디 나가지를 않네요?" 감성돈도 예전엔 역마살이 심할 정도로 돌아다니기 좋아했고, 놀러 다니기 바빴어. 근데 지금은 건강이 우선이고 너희를 오래 만나려면 집순이가 되어야해. 연애 안 하냐고? 결혼 안 하냐고? 감성돈은 혼자가 편한 사람이야. 결혼은 속박이고 연애는 숨막혀. 언젠가 또 좋은 사람 만날 수 있을테지만 지금은 지금 순간에 집중하고 싶어. .
부족한 어른이지만, 너희들의 이야기에 귀기울이는 어른이 될게. 내 행복은 내 안에서 찾을게. 그보다도 건강해져서 너희들 오래 보도록 노력할게. 보고싶다, 얘들아. .

Do you have your kids on a schedule? If they’re young, nap time / bedtime and if they’re older, homework time / ball practice / bedtime; that kind of thing?
So do we. Our kids have pretty strict nap times and bed times and if you read anything anywhere, it tells you how important schedules are for those tiny humans. The twins are going through a pretty rough sleep regression (well, Vernon - which by extension so is Everett), and I was reading last night how to handle it since Garland never went through a regression.
The key component was “don’t change ANYTHING.” Keep them on the same schedule and it helps them get through it more easily.
Then I started thinking, why don’t we ever consider that for ourselves? Life gets crazy, we start feeling feelings and then let life pass by it say no to things we always do. When life gets hard or busier or we start to feel sadness or depression creep in, the biggest thing we can do for ourselves is to KEEP GOING. Maybe you need to implement a schedule so that you have scheduled times to get things done so you aren’t stressing. Maybe you need to implement bedtime for yourself instead of watching real housewives so that you aren’t exhausted to get up the next day.
My point is that we create structure for our kids because we know it’s healthy, but are we creating that same healthy structure for ourselves? What does that look like for you?

The weekend is officially here.
As part of my self-care routine, I am learning to schedule better and be intentional with my time. That also means being intentional with my social media time out.
What are you practicing in self-care? What gives you a reset each week, day, month, or do you function without a reset?
I'm still figuring me out and what gives me balance. I find I feel more refreshed and recharged on Monday's so that is my reset day.

Nobody is going to get mad at you for working early in the morning, 10 minutes at a time, or from midnight to 3 A.M.
You can make it a 9- 5 job or #dedicate a few hours in your day to making things happen. To do this, #schedule it. Make it part of your #routine .
This #series is new to me so I am writing it into my schedule. I will be back later with @youngliving stuff. Right now, my time is dedicated to waking up, enjoying a cup of coffee, and writing this post.
I don't have to punch in on a clock but I do have to hold myself #accountable for the #time and schedule I create. I #homeschool my kids. I carve out time in the mornings for me time where it's my workout, taking Briviact, @naturesultra CBD, and #Youngliving#Sulfurzyme . Then, it's #answer questions and comments on social media for about 30 minutes to an hour. I scroll randomly, too, yes, but not during that hour.

But it is not only that these "windows" we look through are working as filters, showing us only what each individual wants us to see, it can also have a profound effect on us when we step into the trap of comparison. ⠀
Don't you ever compare yourself with somebody on social media, the cars they drive, their academic grades whatever. ⠀
Don't compare where they are on their INDIVIDUAL timeline to where you are now. ⠀
Everybody has their own schedule. ⠀

As Olya is growing fast, sometimes I need to change our daily routine. In summer we had many guests and we spoke mostly English. It's my second language, so eventually it's much easier to me. Plus, Olya's activities include more and more new words in each language. Honestly, I don't mind learning new words all the time in several languages, however neither I believe anyone would need to truly LIVE in 10 lgs. 3-4-5 languages were fine for us to use in our daily routine, but I'm not ready to learn all stuff in Hungarian😅 Besides, probably no one can give their children the same high level in every lg. That's why I made up a new approach: our daily routine is only in English. All other lgs are for FUN. So we play, read, watch cartoons, have a bath and sometimes eat in any language I can speak. And we learn new stuff, too (like dinos names in Greek or repeating new lexic after watching a French cartoon). But I quit mixing day parts or week days linguistically 😁 and I'm pretty happy about it, cause the main reason to learn languages for us is to have fun. Game schedules have been posted to the website (http://sljl.org/schedules/). Your coaches should also receive PDF copies of the schedules soon. The schedules will also be uploaded (hopefully by early next week) into Blue Sombrero so you can look up your team's schedule directly. If changes are made, your coaches will be notified and communicate the changes to the team. Changes will also be noted on the website and in Blue Sombrero.
