Hi everyone! I realized I haven’t introduced myself yet on this account and it’s nearly been a year so I thought I’d do a tiny introduction!
My name’s Theodora but most people call me Thea. I’ve spent most of my life jumping between Canada and The Netherlands. I have a Master of Design in Photography from the Glasgow School of Art and am a freelance photographer. I’m obsessed with Corgi’s (I had one growing up), I love all things colourful even though I wear mainly black or grey haha, and I could eat pasta every day for the rest of my life. When I was a kid my dream career was to be a fashion designer living in London. I like listening to true crime podcasts even though I’m a huge scaredy cat. I visited Scotland for the first time when I was 18, fell in love with the country and the people, so I came back 1.5 years later to do a study abroad exchange in Dundee, and another 1.5 years later I moved to Glasgow where I’ve been for nearly 2 years now!
I’d love to hear more about you!

It’s been a wee while since I’ve posted on here as I’ve had a pretty busy couple weeks. I’ve also got nearly 200 new followers in the last month, so I thought I’d do a little hello to my old and new followers!
I’m Theodora (most people call me Thea), I moved to Glasgow for my Master of Design in Photography and now since graduating last Autumn I am a full time freelance photographer.
I love doing a bit of everything in regards to photography as it makes each and every day different & I get to meet such a variety of people! I have a soft spot for portraiture, and working with other creatives in the form of portraits, art documentation, events, exhibitions, and workshops.
When I’m not working I love going on picnics, visiting the botanic gardens or galleries, getting out of the city, and binging Netflix. I love corgis (and of course other dogs too), true crime podcasts, and dancing. By the end of the year I hope to get back to doing more painting and to finally try out ceramics (something I’ve been wanting to do for ages!).
I’d love to hear more about you in the comments, or feel free to say hi via messages!
I had no idea which picture in this set is the best to share, so I shared them all - same place, same moment, different perspectives - I’m curious what you will say about the last one hahaha surprise! .
It was super creative shoot and maybe I will regret saying that but... in a weird way I prefer this adventurous, wild and often rainy photoshoots. Being there you feel like everything goes wrong, you feel like clients expect something else, there is no gorgeous golden light and it’s cold but at the end... you cherish them for years bcz the moments like this, show you that you’re alive, you’re wild young and free and you rule this moment! .
If you agree don’t hesitate to double tap and as always... I’m curious of your opinions and experiences in that topic 🖤
