“Look deep into nature and then you will understand everything better”
Nature is honestly the best therapy, and it’s FREE! Whenever life is getting overwhelming and stressful my hubby and I get lost in the mountains with the kids. There’s just something about breathing in that mountain air and listening to all the trees blow that heals the soul. What is your favorite thing to do to unwind?
Btw- this hoodie is from the men’s section @hm and I couldn’t be more obsessed with it!
‘Nostalgia - a sentimental longing or wistful affection for a period in the past.’ I’ve been trying to create space on my laptop by deleting all of the bazillion photos that I have multiple copies of, and apart from being incredibly tedious, it’s been so much fun (and emotional) looking back on my pregnancy, and the early months of Sienna Bella’s life.
It’s crazy to think she’ll be three in a few short months, and it makes me sad knowing that she’ll never be this little again.
I’ve been meaning to share a few posts with you all (our experience with infertility, our birth story, and what happened in the two weeks after the birth) but as is the case in life, I just haven’t had/made the time. I’m going to start putting my thoughts and memories into words in the coming weeks and will let you know as soon as they’re ready.
They are subjects that bring back so many emotions, but hopefully by sharing our journey with you all it will help anybody else that’s going through the same or similar things. And for everyone else, it will at the very least mean that you learn a bit more about our little family of three. 📷: 29 July 2016 - the day after Sienna Bella was born!
ps check out my stories for a super cute Easter photo of our little princess from 2016!
