Finally home after an exhausting 7 hour drive back to Melbourne! If there is one thing I miss while travelling, it’s definitely the lack of routine. I tend to eat shitty food while away and always seem to not sleep enough because I always want to make the most of my day! 😊💕 What are you like while travelling? Can you stick to your regular routine?
Postcards from the French Riviera 💌 Keep swiping for the money shot hahaha 🥴😅
~•~ We booked a local tour with dear Rénald and drove along the coast with the roof of his convertible down passing Nice, Est-Littoral, Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, Villefranche-sur-Mer, Eze and Monaco
Rénald shared his local knowledge with us, played La Ritournelle (my fave song) and took this series of photos because he couldn’t stop laughing at our hair literally BLOWING IN THE WIND 💨 ~•~
We’re now sat down with some more rosé, listening to Dido’s White Flag and laughing at these snaps. Having the bestestest time ✨🥰✨🍷✨🌞✨

Happy I got to see a waterfall before we left!
Now to battle the Easter traffic on the M6!
I quickly nicknamed St. Kitts “the island of NO”. NO you can’t go there.
NO you can’t take the bus- take a taxi.
NO you don’t have enough time to do that.
Don’t go to that beach.
Don’t go to Nevis.
You CANNOT do that without a guide!
No you won’t be able to climb that.
No no no!
It left me a bit frustrated- listening to locals’ suggestions is really important to me and is much more accurate than any website with regards to recommendations and things like safety. But I wasn’t trying to go hitchhiking in a bikini in the middle of the night( which would merit a NO)...I wanted to just do very normal tourist stuff!
But right off the bat things seemed excessive - did they just want me to sit alone in my hotel room for my entire trip?
Also it was always men saying no- and I get tired of men telling me I can’t do things REALLY fast.
So I did all the things I wanted to and I had a wonderful time.
I learned about the nature of their “no’s” pretty fast- “you don’t have time to do that, but you have time to spend at my beach bar!”...”you can’t do that without a guide- but I have a friend who is a guide...”. In hindsight a lot of the no’s came from people who had something to gain from saying no. I can’t fault them for that since the economy depends on tourism...but it was exhausting!
Love this planet and all its beautiful creatures. #HappyEarthDay 🌎🌾🐴❤️✨

Etinias by @kobrastreetart 💚💙
This mural by the Brazilian streetartist Eduardo Kobra broke a record in the year it was made, 2016. With about 3000 square meters, this project is the largest street art mural in the world! It is decorated in the typical Kobra style: bright colors and bold lines while staying true to a kaleidoscope theme ~ this mural is called Etinias, or Ethnicity in English and it represent the message of "we are all one". Five ethnical tribes, each of an other continent is beautifully displayed by Kobra: Huli (Oceania), Mursi (Africa), Kayin (Asia), Supi (Europe) and Tapajos (America).
Do you like it? Maybe you already saw some of his work around the world? Which one? Tell me below 💚
sipping on a coffee and reading a good book ☕️ any good recommendations for self-help / business books? 📖

San Antonio, such an awesome little city with an interesting history. It’s really close to the Mexican border, and you can feel the influence in everything from the food to the music. The Spanish Missions are incredibly interesting, there is so much to see and do.

Chichen Itza is the most important city of the Mayan culture in the Yucatan peninsula. It is also the largest and most impressive of the Mayan ruins. Chichen Itza was a sacred city of the Itza and the name literally means: „Mouth of the well of the Itza“ Just amazing ✨✨✨
Central Post Office. Located opposite the Notre Dame, Central Post Office is an iconic building which was built during French colonial period. As it still operates as a post office, you can send the customary postcard from here.
There are a couple of souvenir stores that have unique souvenirs that you cannot find at other places, so you should buy some gifts if you’d like to.

Bun Bo Hue is an extremely popular Vietnamese beef soup noodle dish.
Although the original version of the dish comes from Huế, in the central part of the country, it’s hugely popular, and widely available in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh City) as well.

Apparently the building was used as housing barracks and offices for the army during the Vietnam-America war, but when the war ended the building was mostly abandoned. Fast forward to the present day and the building has fallen into a state of disrepair, crumbling and full of half empty units. Luckily some innovative young artists found inspiration in the building and created pop up stores in the some of the abandoned units. The idea spiralled and somehow the eclectic mix of cafes and stores that is now 42 Nguyen Hue was born into being!
