V happy to announce I’m a recurring character on this season of Silicon Valley! ———————————————————————————
I want to give a shoutout to @kumailn for suggesting me for this role. You’re a legend brother, much obliged.
To Amy, Mike and all the creatives for having me on, and to @tombini for being such a generous actor.
He would stay for all my coverage and read lines in scenes he wasn’t even in to help. That’s class.
Can’t wait for y’all to watch! Trailer in my bio!
And my tiny socks are on the couch in that pic! Look at them! Ok bye! #SiliconValley

Things about business I wish I knew earlier:
Hire slow, fire fast.
Taking it super-slow with hiring a new business-assistant, selected three candidates and keep giving them paid tasks so I can see what works best for me and for them.
I build businesses to make money and to make myself and others happy - not to tolerate people I don’t like and those who aren’t willing to live up to my standards.
There are so many books and people available to tell you how to do stuff: but you should only stick to your gut.
I have found a lot of great books are really impractical - they don’t have a clear action plan, just a lot of smart facts and words. What really helps is listening to entrepreneurs who are hands on their business - their advice is generally very basic, but very actionable.
You want to be able to reach a new milestone unless you know the next few steps, meaning you won’t be able to grow your channel to 1 million followers if you haven’t started it yet, so setting a goal like that without having an idea how things are done makes you look weird.
Start first, see how it goes and then set a realistic, achievable goal.
In today’s market, low inventory dominates the conversation in many areas of the country. It can often be frustrating to be a first-time homebuyer if you aren’t prepared.
Here are five tips
1. Get Pre-Approved for a Mortgage Before You Start Your Search
One way to show you’re serious about buying your dream home is to get pre-approved for a mortgage.
2. Know the Difference Between Your ‘Must-Haves’ and ‘Would-Like-To-Haves’
Do you really need that farmhouse sink in the kitchen to be happy with your home choice? Would a two-car garage be a convenience or a necessity? Before you start your search, list all the features of a home you would like. Qualify them as ‘must-haves’, ‘should-haves’, or ‘absolute-wish list’ items. This will help you stay focused on what’s most important.
3. Research and Choose a Neighborhood Where You Want to Live
Every neighborhood has unique charm. Before you commit to a home based solely on the house itself, take a test-drive of the area. Make sure it meets your needs for “amenities, commute, school district, etc. and then spend a weekend exploring before you commit.” 4. Pick a House Style You Love and Stick to It! Evaluate your family’s needs and settle on a style of home that will best serve those needs.
5. Document Your Home Visits
Once you start touring homes, the features of each individual home will start to blur together. The article suggests keeping your camera handy and making notes on the listing sheet to document what you love and don’t love about each property you visit.

Today I met this amazing and remarkable woman. Shared shared her own journey of finding her voice and power. She told me that I inspired her but it was @mira.dreams that inspired me. I walked away from meeting her with a renewed sense of my own power and ability to dream bigger and being absolutely clear about my own desires and needs! #WomenInpsireWomen#SiliconValley#Blackwomenlead#Tunis

Pumpkins, pumpkins, pumpkins! 🎃 We have a bunch of pumpkins in our store. Get festive and start decorating for Halloween!
Got plans for All Hallow's Eve? Our new Halloween guide has three dozen diabolic destinations for you on and around the Peninsula: Graveyard photo booths, Howl-o-ween for the dogs and Fright Night in your favorite wine cellar. Plus lots of spooky fun for the kiddos. Take a look—Link in Bio.
Wok-fired greens: American ingredients cooked in a Chinese fashion. We cook locally-sourced collard greens in a wok with olive oil, garlic, white pepper, sugar, and salt. Though one of our simpler dishes, these greens are a favorite among our staff. The bitterness of this dish pairs nicely with sweet and salty dishes such as Pork Belly & Egg and Claypot Catfish.

While living in Thailand, every Sunday night I’d get a massage. It was seriously the most divine routine. It was the perfect hard reset for the week ahead. And the perfect way to give back to my body and reward it for all the amazing work it put in all week. ✨
Now as I’m just a short skip away from becoming a certified massage therapist myself, I’m so happy to offer affordable care for the community! To me, it feels as if I’m making massage just as accessible as it was for me while living abroad. The student clinic I’m working at is only $30 for a 45 minute massage😍 My appointments are during the day, 11am, 12 pm, and 1 pm on Monday’s and Wednesday’s. ✨
If these times do not work for you, I also offer in house visits, which are also at a super affordable rate. I love offering the gift of touch, and I look forward to the day it is as respected and utilized in the West as much as it is in the East.
Join the self love revolution today☺️ ✨ 📸 @artnsoulbysarah#massagetherapyawarenessweek
Osterloh described this vision as “ambient computing”. From the keynote:⠀
In the mobile era, smartphones changed the world. It’s super useful to have a powerful computer everywhere you are. But it’s even more useful when computing is anywhere you need it, always available to help. Now you heard me talk about this idea with Baratunde, that helpful computing can be all around you — ambient computing. Your devices work together with services and AI, so help is anywhere you want it, and it’s fluid. The technology just fades into the background when you don’t need it. So the devices aren’t the center of the system, you are. That’s our vision for ambient computing.⠀
Frankly, it’s a compelling vision on multiple dimensions:⠀
First, it is a vision for the future that actually seems larger than the smartphone reality we live in. Alternatives like augmented reality or wearables feel smaller.⠀
Second, it is a vision that does not compete with the smartphone, but rather leverages it. The smartphone is so useful for so many things that any directly competitive technology would have to cover an impossible number of use cases to displace it; ambient computing, though, simply conceives of the smart phone as one of several means to deliver on its promise.⠀
Third, it is a vision that Google is uniquely suited to pursue. The company is a services company incentivized to serve the maximum number of customers no matter the means (i.e. device), and it already has a head start in providing services that contain and accumulate essential information about people’s lives.⠀
