Made a Costco run earlier this week, & randomly stumbled upon these chicken snack sticks! I’m a sucker for a quick on the go snack that is also macro friendly! Each stick has 15g protein, 3g fat, & 1g carb! 🙌🏽 Like I said grab one and go, or make a fun personal size charcuterie for an at home snack!
These little guys are too cute and too good! A perfect side dish straight from the bbq! This was my first time making hassle back potatoes, & I think they look like little accordions 😂 lol. In my opinion cooking them on my bbq tray on the grill gave them that much more flavor! Perfect for meal prep, a family bbq, or added to a greens bowl! 🔥🥔🤤
2 1/2-3lbs potatoes (little potato company creamer pots from Costco)
1/2tsp dried parsley
S&P to taste
Who else does their meal prepping on Sunday’s?! With work right around the corner I won’t have as much time to cook when I feel like it, or throw a quick lunch together at the house for much longer! This chicken sausage sheet pan meal is quick, easy, & great to divide up for work lunches!
I’ve done a variation of this meal on my page before, but that’s also another great aspect of it because you can change your veggies & chicken sausage flavor each time to make a completely new taste and flavor!👌🏽🤤🍴
1 package Trader Joe’s chicken sausage
(I used the garlic & herb, bomb!)
1 lb. Brussel sprouts(sliced in half)
1 medium onion(sliced)
1 medium sweet potato(diced)
10-15 petite potatoes(sliced)
3T avocado oil
1T minced garlic
Okay finally getting my first product review out!! Decided to review 8 flavors of the @one1brands protein bars. I’ve been loving these bars for over a year now and decided it was time I try some more flavors! If you’re looking for a quality bar for those rushed mornings or some mid-day fuel try ‘em out!
First off, none of these bars in my opinion are “bad”, for a protein bar they aren’t chalky or fake tasting like some bars. They ARE soo soft and chewy tho, my fave think about them actually is there texture when you bite into them!
Also I want you guys to know this isn’t an ad & I’m not affiliated with this brand at all. I just honestly love grabbing a one bar when I’m on the go, appreciate they are made with sunbutter, like the macro make up of the bars, & overall just enjoy them!
I’ve ranked them fave —> not fave below:
-LEMON CAKE: holy cow is it the perfect lemony flavor. Not too sweet, not to tart. #lemonlover
-BIRTHDAY CAKE: aka bar of cake batter. creamy and not too rich but sooo yummy. It’s like your bday each time you have one! + SPRINKLES!
-GLAZED DONUT: great maple flavor, definitely on the sweeter side but tasted like a maple bar! DONUT worry, you’ll love it!
-WHITE CHOCO TRUFFLE: is truffley a thing?! I couldn’t pin point the elevated flavor, but I wanted more of it! Perfect mix of white chocolate & chocolate. Has fun chocolate drizzle over the top!
-CINNAMON ROLL: cinnamon forward w/ a cinnamon drizzle on top. Love the combo of cinnamon & vanilla flavors. Taste almost nods to a cream cheese like flavor as well. YUM
-SALTED CARAMEL: sprinkled w/ sea salt on top, making it the first thing you taste. Once chewed I thought the dark choco & sea salt mixed well together. This being the smoothest bar, but VERY salty aftertaste I didn’t really enjoy.
-COOKIES & CREME: very vanilla forward flavor, & not much cookie flavor. Kind of one note-ish. Although there were cookie pieces throughout which is fun!
-BROWNIE: for the choco-lovers! Chocolate coating, chocolate inside, w/ choco chips & coco crispies. Too much chocolate for me tho!
If you liked the product review shoot an emoji in the comments! Working on more to come! 💗

Story time. - Gelato 🍧 ...
- I also like ice cream!
NOOO(with Italian accent))
No, my dear friend, GELATO is not just an ice cream...!
It is a divine creation, mastered and perfected by Italian masters over the centuries...
Its roots go way back into 16th century when Bernardo Buontalenti trying to impress the Medici’s came up with of one of the most outstandingly fabulous pieces of food ever created by mankind...
THAT’S GELATO🧐😅 Or as one good friend of mine put it
”It’s like sex...like good sex”😊 Check out the gelateria in the geolocation;) #gelato#thursdaystories#storytime#goodsex#sexy#italian#history#simplyenjoy#moscow#gelatoinmoscow

Last nights Sushi spread!
This week is allergy awareness week! So I thought I’d share my food allergies story. In 6th grade I had my first reaction, to a ferrero rocher(those gold foil hazelnut candies everyone loves around Christmas time). For me they hold the terrifying memory of being taken out of my middle school on a gurney scared I was dying. I then found out I was allergic to all treenuts. From 6th grade-college I had a handful more of serious reactions from different kinds of nuts.
When I was 22, I was eating peanuts(which I did daily) & suddenly I was at work being taken to the hospital by ambulance again. After being tested again I am now allergic to all treenuts, peanuts, sesame, & strawberries.
Having multiple reactions due to not taking my allergies as serious as I should in the past has made me probably too cautious in certain situations now. But I’d now rather be safe than sorry & in the hospital.
I wanted to share my story because so many people don’t realize how serious allergies can be. Allergies don’t just affect me physically, they affect my everyday life, my mental space, my travels/hobbies, & especially the people in my life that have to also be careful. If you’re still reading, per usually you an MVP! And hopefully this post helped shed some light if you’ve never known anyone with severe food allergies.
Okay last thing, I absolutely LOVE sushi but can only have it when I make it at home. It is such a labor of love that takes time! So glad I took the time, and shared it with some of my favorite ppl!

Sweet & Simple dinner tonight! Summer time means grilling/bbq’in time at our house! And I know it’s not quite summer but we got 75 here today and that is not our usual May weather, but not complaining! ☀️🙌🏽 Either way, when it’s 75 outside it’s like 85 inside our house! So no way in hell am I turning the stove/oven on! 🙅🏻♀️(Do I sound like a true Washingtonian?!😂) Decided to do a quick Asian inspired marinate on the chicken which ended up having the perfect fresh lemon flavor I was looking for with a zing of ginger! Could totally use a little more spice in my opinion so feel free to go for it with the pepper flakes. Also threw together all the rando veggies I found in the fridge & roasted them on the bbq! Perfect dinner to enjoy outside on the back deck as it starts to cool down! Oh and also rice, cause carbs are life! 🙌🏽🍚🍗🥦🥕💚
Lemon ginger chicken marinate
2 1/2 lbs chicken breast
1/3C avocado oil(or evoo)
Juice of one lemon(about 3-4T)
2tsp minced garlic(or 1/8tsp ground)
1/4tsp pink salt
1/4tsp red pepper flakes
1/4 tsp garlic powder
Mix all ingredients together in a bowl. add chicken breast to gallon size zip lock baggie. Pour marinate over chicken and seal with minimal air inside. Let marinate in fridge for 20min-12hours(overnight). I let mine for about an hour. Then throw on the grill, & brush with excess marinate. Flip & repeat brushing till chicken is cooked through, temp will be 165 degree F. Add to your favorite veggies, salad, pasta, or any dish. And SIMPLY ENJOY!
Happy birthday to you, my strong husband, my best friend, and my favorite person in the whole world (besides Monk🤷♀️) You bring us so much happiness you don’t even realize; you’re the glue that keeps our little family together. Thankful for everything that you do.. I love you more than I have ever found a way to say to you. 💙
“Budd’s completed a beautiful renovation of our family’s pool; it turned out better than we could have imagined. They were patient in teaching us how to properly start-up and care for it, as well. Budd’s made this stress free and overall a great experience. We will be recommending the company to every pool owner we know. - Antoinina Anderson
Turns out, I can actually keep some plants alive. 🌿
That hard desert water had me thinking otherwise when it strangled everything, including cacti. 🌵
This place about to become an urban jungle y’all. .

“Maybe I’m the only one who needs to hear this today, but I’d like to say, you don’t have to work ON YOUR LIFE every day. You don’t have to EFFORT, put your best foot forward, improve yourself EVERY DAY. .
No, my sweet friends, some days are for putting our burdens DOWN. Some days are a song to be sung, a walk in the woods, a hammock nap. Some days are for no one and nothing but your own sweet self and your trusty inner compass. .
Life does not have to be one great mountain climb. It can be a swim across the lake, baking fresh bread, communing with a tree that is a friend. ,
We are not always meant to be tired, stretched to the limit, at empty. Perhaps we find FULLNESS by *not* filling every moment. Today... just LIVE your sweet life. Don’t worry about FIXING it.” — @heidiroserobbins 🙏🏼🙏🏼🙏🏼 (@brianna_gordon_ )
Truthtalk... I DID need this today. Reading it made me feel like I received a new level of permission to rest and enjoy the tiniest moments in my day, celebrate the way my body feels and moves, and appreciate the ways my life is evolving and shifting. RATHER than feeling like I need to be constantly productive, or FIGURE IT ALL OUT. .
Friends, It’s okay to rest. It’s okay to not produce. It’s okay to not be in constant improvement mode. It is so profoundly okay to simply ENJOY... being alive, or the flowers on the trees, or the ten minutes of quiet you find to just take a breath for yourself. .
Some days are for laying our burdens down, and perhaps nothing more. ❤️
Had an EGG-cellent Easter yesterday with the family, had to throw that in here! 😅Lol. Chose to not write any recipes out and enjoy the quality time. Always so thankful for Jason’s parents that host holidays, and our contributions are appetizers and desserts!
I have loved deviled eggs since I was a little thing, and now love making them for any holiday! For Easter yesterday I went with the OG’s & dill pickle! Have to give credit to one of my besties moms, because I had the dill pickle version for the first time from her and I was hooked!

2T olive oil mayo

Ironically on Earth day, Monk was super fascinated by our recycling man and his truck. She even stopped to give him a few little waves ♻️
I’m hoping this little one catches on just how important it is to take care of this place we call home..🌎
It’s crazy watching her mesmerized by all sorts of things tho. Trying to figure out how stuff works and why it’s working. She’s getting so big.. someone make it slow down😫
* also YES that’s a dog hair on her lip. It’s Boba’s shedding season and it’s real😂😅 #doghairdontcare
