Mosques and Churches weren't left out. We visited Imams at the mosques and Pastors at the churches with a message that they should encourage their members to not just pray for our communities and nation, but to #vote and #votelocal too. If everyone does their bit consistently, Nigeria's rate of development will be faster.
PS: We are had to wear hijab just to ensure we get to see the Imam.
Repost from facebook post in April 2017... "We mean it when we say we ain't giving up cos we know we deserve better. If Abuja could hear us and adopt our idea, and effect same idea at all local government areas in Lagos state, then it confirms to us that there's a gap for youths burning with ideas to fill. Find your place.
We took to our streets, shared our passion and vision for our community with various religious leaders, young people, partisans and just anyone. EVERYONE holding this placard is as passionate as we are and shares in our vision. #TransformingAjegunleProjects
Cont's: Unrelented, we started an online and offline voters card collection and local govt election awareness exercise. We had teens who supported us with a dance as we educated people on the streets on the need to #votelocal
@repost from facebook post May 12, 2017... Young people, deciding the fate of their community... Everything we do as a group, is premised on the fact that if every local government was actively functioning, Nigeria will develop faster. Community by community, Nigeria can be better.
We can't make head way in transforming our communities if we have non-listening leaders at local level. So, two Saturdays ago, we stationed our booths at both Suru bus-stop and Boundary bus-stop respectively, creating awareness on the forthcoming local government election, voter's card collection and why voting at grassroot level is also important.
Tomorrow, May 13th, we shall be at "Round-about" (Mosafejo) creating more awareness.
Nationwide, voter's card collection is ongoing on Saturdays. Kazeem Ayodele is an official of INEC, he will help with questions bothering on your voter's card.

Again in 2016, we visited INEC's office in our local government and found over 20,000 uncollected voters card and we took actions that led to a national approval of weekend collection of voter's card. The first of its kind.
@repost from fb, 2016....
You live in Ajegunle and are worried about the state of Ajegunle esp. the youths and their future? Here's what you can do. It's simple and completely free!!! - Go get your voter's card!!! Good news!!! There are over 20,000 voter's card (from 2011 and 2014 registration) awaiting collection at INEC's office, Ago-Hausa. Yes, over 20,000 and yours is there.
We visited INEC's office at Ago-Hausa, saw over 8 sacks containing your voter's card (wasn't allowed to take pictures but I pleaded to have the one below) and then we offered to help out with the clearance.
We are working on having INEC officials at various wards on Saturdays and Sundays to facilitate collection of cards but this is awaiting approval. Until then, please do a leg walk to their office.
Your vote is your voice. Vote for the voiceless. Get your voter's card.
And just in case you need to confirm if your voter's card is among the stock, don't worry, we went the extra mile for you and got a staff's number BUT you must call on Mondays ONLY. 08030514996, 07030295320 - Kazeem (very kind-hearted of him)
