Have you ever watched a commercial and you just can’t contain your emotions? AD: That’s how I felt when I saw @crest’s new TV commercial, featuring 86 year old Bertha Nunn! To celebrate the season of giving, Crest partnered with Wish of a Lifetime and made Berth’s wish come true by casting her alongside Santa in its latest holiday spot. What an incredible way for Crest to give people a lot to smile about (and in my case, cry). It made me think about our beautiful Nana, who would have been 95 last week, and her lifelong dream of visiting Hawaii. Sadly, she wasn’t able to fulfill her dream before she passed in 2016, but we are determined to go to Hawaii and bring a picture of her with us wherever we go. While she won’t physically be there, she will be there in spirit and that will make us all so happy. Nachgedacht!
Ich war wie jedes Jahr für 11 Tage auf der Motorshow Essen, dieses Jahr bin ich morgens und Abends zu Fuß in meine Unterkunft gelaufen ca.1.7 km aber darum geht’s ja nicht.
Morgens durch die Rüttenscheider Straße zu laufen herrlich, nur eines ist mir aufgefallen, es gibt Menschen dort, die kein Zuhause mehr haben und jeden Morgen oder Abend am selben Platz waren, als ob sie genau an dieser Stelle wohnten, niemand hat diese vertrieben oder sonstiges, sie waren da, jeden Tag!
Welches Schicksal sie hatten?
Keine Ahnung, es ist ihres und kann jedem von uns passieren!
Ich habe dann jeden den ich gesehen habe, mein Kleingeld gegeben und dafür ein danke und Lächeln erhalten.
An einer Kreuzung steht ein älterer Herr und verkauft Zeitungen und Kalender für die Obdachlosenhilfe, als ich dort vorbeikam unterhielt er sich freundlich mit einem Polizisten, schon schön so etwas zu sehen.
Ich habe zwar keine Zeitung gekauft, aber trotzdem bezahlt.
Was möchte ich damit sagen, macht eure Augen auf und schaut euch um, den eine kleine Hilfe, könnte für andere eine große Hilfe sein!
Ach ja, eine tolle Straße ist die Rüttenscheider👍🏻
