  • It took 6 days of hiking to get to this insanely beautiful place and it was totally worth it. Being surrounded by giants of the Himalayas was a moment we will never forget.

  • Atop the highest mountain peak of Germany 🏔️ - The Zugspitze Mountain - about 2900 metres above sea level.
During our stay in Munich we took a tour to these mountains which was suggested by our tour planner.

The ride up to the mountains on a cogwheel train had some scenic and beautiful views - snow-covered log cabins, pine trees, beautiful lakes.

The last picture (when you slide) is Lake Eibsee, I took this picture from the slow moving train, the color of the lake is so marvelous.

The moment you walk out into the snow capped sumit it is truly spectacular, the view all around is simply breathtaking.

The sun was blazing hot on that day so we could bear the minus 10 degrees C, moreover we covered ourselves in layers of warm clothing. Holding the snow for few seconds would numb our palms.
There is also a full-fledged restaurant atop the mountain called 'Sonn Alpin 2600m' #sonnalpin2600m.

There were many families enjoying skiing.

Our fellow travellers to these mountains included people from all age group - babies in cradle, elderly in wheelchairs, pets.

Note: the 8th picture was taken outside the Garmisch-Partenkirchen station. .

  • Mt. Rainier National Park. Fell in love with this beauty. My brother drove me up to catch this on our first day. Man what a sight.
