Hot damn, 11 thousand followers! Thank you guys for somehow following along with my tiny farm and design biz. You’re a funny audience (not funny ha ha). Some of you are farmers who want to nerd out with me on growing methods and plant stuff, but couldn’t really care less about the weddings. Some of you are couples or planners or romantics who eat up a beautifully shot bridal bouquet. Others are locals who happened upon my farmstand and want to know what their deal is. And a very small handful are friends, wondering ‘What the hell is Lennie up to now’? Without really thinking too hard about how to talk to you all at once, I’ll just keep being myself, ranting on some days and waxing poetic on others. Thanks for following along, and generally for caring what’s going on over here. Instagram has been a truly great way to try to hold onto the daily beauty and to see some of yours. Here’s to a great season for all of us, and here’s one of the very first handfuls of peonies this year.

No, YOU’RE the one who looks crazy carrying your flower around the house trying to find the right light for a pic (bathroom ftw). This lonely stem of ‘Buckeye Belle’ breaking my heart. For sale in spring of 2020 (inshallah 🙏).
#sponsored I spend 20-30 minutes every morning consciously drinking coffee. Maybe while watching or reading the news. Waiting for the sun to rise. Listening to the birds. Appreciating the moment. Immersing myself into the new day.
Savoring. It’s integral to my day. It sets me up for success. To acknowledge the pleasure of a moment, and then I can extend it.
This night my only plan was to have a picnic. To forget about my long and tiring day — to just be. Watch the sun set. Taste each bite of food. Every sip of wine.
I want to remember this moment. All of it. I want to savor it. Acknowledge and appreciate where I am — knowing that it’s the exact right place and the exact right time.
How do you take time to slow down and savor moments during your day?
Thanks to #rowenwines#sonomacounty for sending me the perfect wine to savor.

The answer to your problems may not lie at the bottom of a bottle of wine 🍷 but shouldn’t you at least check? 🤪

Living. What a day! We took full advantage of a scheduled adult day out and had lots of fun drinking delish beer throughout Sonoma County. It was wonderful, and the perfect refresher I needed with all that is crazy in life at the moment. Days like these remind me that life is about balance - working hard and growing, but also enjoying the fruits of that labor and commitment, and most importantly spending time with people that we connect with, people that make us better.
Getting energized by the #fullmoon and doing some late night crafting! .
It feels so good to be burning again, I had slowed down a lot for the first trimester of the pregnancy and now am burning with a respirator and all the windows open.
When I’m wood burning it feels like all of my worries and stress are being burned away and vaporizing with the smoke and when my mind is at ease tackling the hard things in life seems a lot easier.
I feel so incredibly grateful to be living in the beautiful #sonomacounty all of the #springflowers and #bumblebees have inspired my work. I’m now working on some #gardensigns#wallhangers and #mirrors to add to my #handmadeshop which is a bit different from the #handmadejewelry I was making before, it’s nice to be making large scale items.
