This was the hardest trial of the day, so brutal!

Another #trackthursday in the books 🤪 it helps that it was rainy and cold out so I don’t have to adjust for the heat! Doing a 10k on Saturday on the west side of the state so I hope my leggies heal up before that!!! Does anyone have any fun races coming up this weekend?? 🏃🏼♀️🥇
I swear we did the full 100 miles!! There was an hour between about 35-50 miles where we all felt like giving up due to the rain, hail, wind, cold and the promise of lunch at half way turning out to be 7 miles later! First couple of days in Europe, no time for jet lag the adventure is underway! Started in Barcelona, Kat flew in from her hike in the Italian Dolomites, we hired a car and found a cozy town in the Pyrenees, then planned our hikes which included Circ de Colomèrs (my spanish isn’t great but that roughly translates to Circus of Pigeons... 🤷🏼♂️) zero pigeons sighted. #hiking#adventure#mountains#lakes#sorelegs#iskiplegdayoften

Holy hamstrings!! Running downhill for 26.2ish miles faster than you planned may trash your legs, just the hamstrings and lower glutes. I've rubbed all the iKor on them and tried not to squeal in pain when sitting on the toilet this morning. I've not been this sore after a marathon in a while.

An awesome day for a hike. Went and did Healy Pass. Unfortunately we couldn't actually finish the hike as the trail at the end was closed for restoration (the path at the end was not an official path). Still had a pretty good time though. Roundtrip took just over four hours to walk/run the ~18km route for us.
